Absolutely. 100% on this with @se0ulmate. Also, the common consensus (from viewers as well as folks around Nabi)…
I do see your point and I guess I didn't really take into account that he is being quite manipulative. Either way I doubt this will turn out well (I didn't read the webtoon so I don't know what will happen exactly) but I was looking forward to a happy romance with Song Kang...I swear is this guy ever gonna end up in a happy relationship xD still love his acting though
That’s true, but I think what everyone is picking up on are his actions, not his words. So far, he’s noticed…
I do agree with you that Park Jae-eon is not free of fault here. I'm just saying Nabi isn't free of fault either since she is somewhat aware of what he is doing. And yes, his behaviour is pretty calculated and I am definitely aware of what he wants out of this.
Honestly I'm really disapointed in how this drama turned out. I'm not saying it was really bad or anything but it has so much wasted potential. After around episode 8/9 it started to get really boring and it felt like things just started happening at random to try to make it more exciting (which in my eyes didn't work).
I did like the ending but again it wasn't anything spectacular. Overall the drama was average but I did really like the main characters and their interactions which was the only thing stopping me from just dropping this...I was really looking forward to DAYS since I love Seo In Guks acting but the plot was just not it for me.
Many here in the comments stating there are many red flags with Park Jae Eon and I'm not saying that they are necessarily wrong but he made it pretty obvious that he's not into dating and even told her directly that he does not believe in dating. Nabi has also witnessed it herself and has been told so by her friend that he has many lose relationships with girls...meaning Nabi is perfectly aware of the type of relationship she is getting into. And tbh if that's what both of them want then up until this point I wouldn't call their relationship toxic (but of course I don't know how this will all play out in the later episodes).
Even though I knew this was not going to end on a good note for the male lead I was still left heartbroken after the last episode. Soo Hyun had such pitiful life and then he had to die in such a pitiful way. Although I wish it had a somewhat happier ending I know that it wouldn't have made any sense under those circumstances...if Soo Hyun didn't kill Do Ja Hwan he would have still gone to jail for a pretty long time so I'm glad he at least got his revenge. The only thing which kind of bothered me was that it would have been so much more impactful if at the end they showed Soo Hyun with his shining blue eyes to kinda openly reveal who he really is.
