Honestly I agree with most of the reviews here. I've struggled to find a show interesting enough to start for a week and then found this and wanted to be obsessed with it and for the first 5-6 episodes i was! Feet kicking, giggling, gasping, i was invested☝🏼 but then i suddenly wasnt and at first i thought it was just me i couldnt get why i wasnt but now that im done with the drama and read through other reviews it seems like it wasnt just me.Dont get me wrong, its still a good drama, hut it started off amazing so it fell off from that severely. The acting was great from all the characters there just stopped being any development in their personalities or dynamics for a good few episodes and thats on the writers and not the actors.
Overall still an okay drama, i personally am just not a fan of when dramas have this sudden pit of cliche romance focused episodes with no development in plot *cough cough* love next door *cough cough* but if romance is your thing im sure you'll enjoy it !

Honestly im glad i didnt read the reviews before watching this (i usually depend on them!)I honestly really enjoyed reborn rich, i binge watched it all in one go. I will say the ending was rushed and wasnt as satisfying as it should have bewn BUT despite that i still really enjoyed the show!
Ive really been into the time travel/ second chance dramas recently so i wasnt put off by the fact that the ML knew everything despite being "reborn" as a kid in this other family. Like yes it made things all go in his way but it wasnt too OP as youd think it could be, again this is a second chance drama so its to be expected.
Like i said the ending was rushed, it couls have honestly been stretched out into a whole other episode and deserved an extra episode tbh. There are certain things that werent properly adressed that should have been.
But besides that, the acting was amazing, the plot was plotting, the cinematography was *chefs kiss* so i really enjoyed it !

I'M SO CONFLICTED
Okay im sure you’ve seen all the very polarised reviews and honestly i get it i really do. I wanted to love this soooo bad, ive been facing a terrible drama slump nothing was working for me watchee 4-5 and i could just not stick through the first two eps of any of them and then i found this gem.It starts off AMAZING first 1-5 eps are so good im hooked, i didnt even know when i started that the main leads were the ones from Go Back couple which i just watched last week ! But then it starts to not make sense anymore...
Id like to say before getting into what went wrong that everyones acting was absolute *chefs kiss* kudos to all of them.
Now getting into where it all went down hill: the husbands death. Or maybe the faft that when she found out that her daughter isnt his SHE DIDNT BOTHER FIGURE OUT HOW AND WHO?
Anyways after the death things start to go off the rails ngl like her friend whos not her friend is insanely jealous of her, and so her actions for the most part makes sense... untill she turns out to be an absolute psycho??? Huh?? She starts making so many dumb decisions like girl at least be good at being bad ? AND THEN SHE DIES ?!?! LIKE WHAT ?!?! WHAT ABOUT ALL THW TERRIBLE THINGS SHES DONE ?!?1
Idk the plot holes were piling up and the direction of the plot became non existent, the twists are now too tangled to enjoy and im sat here hoping till the end that the ending at least will make up for it... but the ending is quite meh tbh :(
Now despite all of this the acting was soooo good i acc enjoyed it regardless it was still an upgrade to a lot of other dramas that are rated so much higher on here which shocked me lol

Amazing but ...
Im honestly so conflicted after just having finished the final episode. I LOVED the plot but there were certain things that frustrated me a little. I watched both seasons back to back so this review will compare bothIll start with what i loved:
- the plot this season was honeslty *chefs kiss*. It was SOOOOO well written, the autopsy aspect, the crimes, the new characters etc all of it was so great and honestly i think better than the first season.
- the acting was SO much better this season than last honeslty. One of the main things that i kept noticing was the acting in the first season, for some characters it was a little... cringey ngl. But no everyone was AMAZING in this season!
- this one is more subjective but i wasnt a big fan of the hints of romance between prosecutor eun and doctor baek PERSONALLY so im happy they got rid of that... i did however lowkey ship her with prosecutor Do 😮💨
Things i didnt like as much:
- i agree with a lot of the comments that although the plot was such a development they completely stripped away the focus from the main characters? Like completely removed that bond between the viewer and the characters this season snd the bond between wafh other too which sucked so bad because they could have done so much !
- the random consist fatshaming ??? Idk if i completely missed it the first season but was that so consistent and frequent then??? Because it was totally unnecessary like how is that the only character "development" out of ALL the characters thats the ONLY change? That ppl call him "fatso" ?? Hated that
- was not a big fan of sally (at all) ngl 😵💫
- Now its been a couple of years since its release and so im assuming the possibility of a third season is very slim WHICH MEANS THE CLIFF HANGER IN THE END SUCKS
Overall i did really enjoy the drama and i REALLYYYY hope we can get a third season 🥲

Surprisingly REALLY engaging
I dont even know why or how but this was super entertaining to watch! Its a drama about managing a baseball team which is.. quite random lol but i found it super wholesome and very entertaining! I literally know nothing about baseball (nothinggg) yet was engaged the whole time so i do reccomend giving it a go. Healing
Honestly idk what it is about this drama but I formed such a strong attachment to it like i genuinely have no idea why but oh my gosh. Its such a healing drama and its just done so well. Nothing is rushed but it isnt too slow either, they act their age, and are sensitive to their traumas simultaneously. I feel like it could have been an episode or two longer in my opinion but it was a satisfying ending nonetheless. Highly reccomend!♡Was this review helpful to you?
Started off great...
First review oof but this show honestly started out so great like yes it was slow but it was ✨️ artistically slow✨️so i acc enjoyed wvey second of it.. for the first few episodes... and then i was skipping 20 mins in to the following episodes after like ep six and NOTHING WAS HAPPENING like im sorry but theres only so much you can draaaaggggg the artsy slowness. A bit of the story was lost in translation too but...
I thoroughly enjoyed this and binge watched it all in one sitting ! Ill try avoid spoilers but it might be inevitable so we'll seeThe acting and cast were absolutely perfectttttt i was soooo excited for both main leads when i found out their were acting together and saw a post recently that they were acc the recast choices! Sooo happy they sccepted the roles as it suited them SO perfectly i cant even explain it
In terms of the story, i enjoyed it ! Coming from someone who is not the biggest fan of rom-coms/romance focused dramas because of the drag that happens because of miscommunication and misunderstandings and much prefers thrillers and law dramas, i think the story was great. HOWEVER I wont deny that there were things that i felt werent as developed or necessary to the plot (mostly in regard to her family).
The cinematography was *chefs kiss* and this honestly might become one of my comfort dramas that i shall rewatch along with Alchemy of souls s2 (i loveeee younjung 🥹) and the tale of lady ok.
I did feel really bad for Hiro though although im happy with the happy ending, he went out of his way to learn korean to communicate with her 🥺💔

Came for youngwoo
Ngl i started watching this primarily to see youngwoo, youngwoo as a morally grey prosecutor? Yum yum. But honestly i really enjoyed it!Is it realistic? No, i mean how is one guy winning consistently against dozens of the countries best fighters despite being disabled and out of practice supposedly for 11 years... but does that matter? No! Its acted out amazingly, the scenes are all awsome. I will admit it was a little toooo bloody for my taste but thats the premise of the show, i knew from the get go itll be like that.
The acting was great overall and the cinematography too! Didnt feel like it dragged at any point.
I think there were a few moments where i sat and thought "does that acc make sense" but besides that i really enjoyed it!

Really enjoyable
Once again i was a bit worried watching this seeing all the terrible reviews but i really really enjoyed it! Im not going to deny that there werent some moments which i thought could be done better, be it the acting or the writing but the drama overall was very enjoyable and the ending was very satisfying!I wasnt a big fan of the story line of the first two episodes and the response of the FL to the cases but again i enjoyed the drama very much.

Idk why I put off watching it for 8 years...
Ive known about this drama since it came out and whenever id look for something to watch the past EIGHT YEARS it always came up but i always ended up pushing it back... WHY !?! OML IM OBSESSED!!I was a little indifferent to it the first two eps in fact i wasnt really a big fan of the dynamics of the main leads. He was overly snarky and she was a little obsessive. BUT when all things start to fall into place and the story being to unravel itself, omg i just couldnt help but fall in love with.
Its been AGES since a drama has been able to inflict such emotions in me let alone make me sob like a babyyyyy.
Also i absolutely LOVE dramas that reference the korean resistance and how they resisted their occupation, its so uplifting.
Overall HIGHLY reccomend and it honestly made me so sob like a babyyyyyyyyyy in the last few eps till thr last second.

I really enjoyed watching this and in fact binge watched it all in one go! I don't get why it has a lot of negative reviews it did what it said it would. I didnt feel like it dragged and I thought every character was developed just right. I didnt feel like there were too many characters either it would have been unrealistic for them to plan what they planned with less people involved 💀I will agree though that the ending was rushed despite the fact that it was a 16 episode series so there was no need for it to be rushed as it was. The events in ep 16 could have easily stretched out into ep 15 too.
Also a LITTLE SPOILER but not reallyyyy, I wasnt the biggest fan of who he ended up with in the end i barely felt any chemistry between them whereas there was chemsistry between him and literally every other female character lol.
Besides that though i really liked it and im glad i watched it before seeing all the mixed reviews for once 😅

Very well paced
I really enjoyed watching this! The way the events and suspects were revealed so smoothly kept me hooked honestly im highkey a biggggg fan !SPOILER:
On one hand im sure there ARE parents that would do anything to protect their kids i mean just listening to the Rotten Mango podcast there are parents who would defend their kids for murder irl but... i just cant believe ppl would be that cruel. Not only did they commit murder, it was the fact that they r*ped her and the fathers didnt even really care for that like thats the one crime where it always ever purely stems from greed and cruelness in the heart how do you look at your child after that. And worse how did they stay friends with the girl's dad knowing they themselves killed her and burried her....
It would have been nice if the main character would have had more... character but idk ten years in prison straight after high school im sure strips one from their identity so fair enough.
Overall i REALLY enjoyed it and binged watched it all at once ✨️

Amazing...
I honeslty absolute loved this drama and it has become one of my favs for sure ! Im writing this after watching season 2 as well so i will be comparing quite a lot and will try to minimise spoilers as much as i can.I much preferred the first season to the second one tbh there was so much more development, hope and a bond between the viewer and the characters. It was so well directed and the acting was *chefs kiss* . It dealt with such a sensitive topic perfectly. I cant deny the feelings of joy and comedy felt bittersweet a lot of the time knowing that 1) the characters were dead and 2) will most likely dissapear soon but despite that, it ended so (painfully) beautifully.
Season 2 was also good don't get me wrong but i hated thay it had such an open ending and years later its still not confirmed if there will be a season three or not ? If so then that ending leaves much hope for a thrilling start to the new season....

Great start to 2025
Honestly this was such a great start to the year with such a well paced, well written and very well acted drama ! All the characters were great, i wish if qas longer and i hope hope hope they make another season! One thing that bothered me a little was the (international) politics (not surprised by their perspective) but i LOVED the insight into hospital politics it was very fresh and very angering (in a good way!).
