Min ho's acting is serviceable with some good moments. I think he doesn't give Tan the right energy. Remember Gong Yo in Biscuit Teacher & Candy Star? He was also 26 and he beamed with teenage energy. LMH's Tan looks awfully quiet and cool. Now, He was written this way but even a dormant volcano should have fire underneath, ryt?

2> Usually, LMH does romance right but this time, instead of getting a happy couple who cutely bicker, we have a miserable couple who just sigh and stare. Way to suck the energy out of it.When Tan and Eun Sang are just happy together, they're amazing but that doesn't happen so often.

PSH's acting has its ups and downs too. I like her crying scenes *cough*cough* and when she's standing up to herself. I hate her when she's dragged along with a frozen expression=> writer's fault. I HATE her when she kisses. I wish they could just kiss on the cheek!

They totally did ^^ Truth be told, I started watching QIHM one day before my final exams and I completed it even before the finals were done :P which shows what a dedicated student I am *clap clap*.

Agree. I hope he learns his lesson now :D

Kim Wo Bin has a teeny tiny almost nothing role in AGD, but he was cute there. Here, he just does it right. I love how he changes his tone and how his eyes show his emotions.

The writer is known for writing charismatic jerks (Jo Woon for SG). This time she made her first lead a good man who spends his time staring and sighing. Then, she needed to up the romance but by definition her female leads always resist the romance => Broody Tan becomes Stalker Tan :)

At this point, Tanny finally decided to do something so I'm back to loving him and 2nd lead reverted to evil again.

To Be continued again.

Review Secret Love
Thanks for the review @Sun <3 Now I can close my eyes and go 'Lalalala' whenever anyone tells me to try Secret and I won't feel horrible about it because this is definitely NOT my cup of tea.

Again, thanks for the comprehensive review and Congrats! You finally did it ^_^

Heir's Second lead is a very crazy and active character done by a charismatic actor. Yesterday, I was convinced has feelings. It was such a relief.

I guess you'd like the show :) I have hope that the second part would be better.

Why did LMH take the role? He, like most of the cast, signed for the role without even reading the script (there was no script at the time). The writer is famous for making hit-dramas and famous male leads (Secret Garden's Kim Jo Woon). Plus, she said that she wrote this awesome character with LMH in his mind. She said her Kim Tan is tailored for LMH! That's why he took the role and PSH was casted next.

QIHM is an amazing drama with a dreamy feel. Watching it was like falling in love. The couple has real chemistry. I could watch them staring at each others all day long. The story, while some found it boring, never failed to hold my interest. I recommend it.

No,I'm not doubting your sanity cuz then I'll have to doubt mine :P Today I go back to liking Tan. It's really complicated but I'll try my best to explain:
1-Tan could be interesting because he has an interesting background BUT he's a stoic character. He was written this way. And, LMH is not bringing him to life.
2- I hate romantic aka (whinny stalker) Tan: That's the writer's fault because she understand possessive as swoon-worthy and stalker as romantic.
3-When Tan doesn't do anything other than stalking his girl. He's awfully boring => writer's fault
4- I don't think that LMH is playing him the right way or giving him the right vibe=> yup, I have issues with LMH's acting.
Today, I like Tan :) I'm back to rooting for him but I'm still not impressed with LMH's acting :(

To Be Continued :Sorry I write so much:

Thank you. It's better to like it at its half way than to never like it at all, right?
I did fall in love with the second lead :P Couldn't resist him any more. He's a twisted sociopath who shoots murderous looks at everyone, but he's freaking HOT and he beams with charisma. As I said, my fangirl heart can't take it anymore but I resisted for long 10 episodes :D

LMH's Tan gains my affection from time to time but I don't like his character, in general. If and only if he proves that he's much more than a BIG whining baby, then I'll go back to him in a heartbeat.

Nine is very good, a well-made drama, intriguing plot, and good acting. I find it lacking in the romance department (all the kisses are very good) but the romance is just one aspect of the story. Have you watched Queen In Hyun's Man by any chance?

The :O faces are a study-case on their own *LOL*

Yeah! on the logical department, the drama definitely wins. On the heart department, not so much. I love the bromance as much as you do and I love Sun-Woo's awesome boss. Where do you find such a boss?

I guess it was harder for the actors because they started off as lovers. They're human beings too and they need time to create that harmony and reach this intimacy. I can imagine they just met on set and their first scene was 'KISSING'! I'll cut them slack this time :)

I'm so sorry for scaring you but according to dramaland that's the #1 cause of your situation.

About Nine, honestly; I don't think it can challenge IHYV or CC. It's a well-made drama with the plot being the real star of the show. Consequently, 'what happens next?' is the only thing that I care about. In other words, I was ready for this drama to end at the first episode :P I didn't have time to properly love the characters because I was too focused on the events.
I do like the male-lead but I don't love him. (Surgeon friend is the best guy out there. LOVE HIM)

The romance feels a bit bland. I can't feel their love. Perhaps because they were already a couple in ep1 but I don't feel certain magic between them (despite the kisses and all). When the girl was his niece, it seemed perfectly acceptable. That's wrong. Swooning over red phone box when the leads are kissing is a hint! right?

Hey! Cool profile update :) *I'm an observant person too ^_^; *

Love the Chilling Romance gifs and Il Mare too. Hope your dream comes true soon.

*here comes the* But

You used to be a hero? Don't they have something like "once a hero, always a hero??"

Shouldn't stories offer more explanation to dramatic twists like that?

I'll just fill in the details with whatever my dramatic mind comes up with *Oh! Son Ye Jin turned out to be your half-sister O_O! That must be the cause of your current underground-status. *

I'm fine :) Thanks for the feedback Christina :) I dunno. I hated both the male and female lead from the first episode. And, he really acts like a jerk.

Confession: I didn't know who SYJ was when I first watched SeGa so I didn't get the big deal they made about her :P

Yeah! That must be shocking for you. I can imagine you jumped in glee or let a fanboy scream? Okay, probably not. You're not me.

Honestly none of them look really interesting. I'll check up Man from The Stars.
I might check up The Prime Minister & I as I love both The King and I and The Sound of Music but I'll have to stomach Yoona's acting for that. The same goes for Lee Yeon Hee's Miss Korea.
