Hello Chingu ^_^ Happy weekend ^^

Here's a little bit of Li Da Ren for you. Apparently, the actor will make a new drama soon.

Rich Man Poor Woman hmmm; well, they're being awfully honest about it and it's not like it would be the first drama I watch about a rich man and a poor woman. *takes another look at the couple* 11 episodes shouldn't be a problem??? *Adding it to my p.t.l*

Strawberry on the Shortcake symbolizes a style of living. I'm tempted to ask you the question to find out what kind of person you are (according to the drama) :P :P So, if you really love strawberries and you're having a strawberry shortcake for dessert, would you eat the strawberry on the top of the shortcake first or last??

*Please ignore this moment of craziness. Clearly, I'm still under the effect of the Shortcake*

Thank you ^^

I guess the lovely couple on your profile are le 'Rich Man' and la 'Rich Woman'? They're a adorable! I have to confess that the title itself is a major turn-off. Really? Rich Man Poor Woman..Couldn't they come up with something better?

I'll add it to my ever-growing P.T.L

I miss the Doctor's Son too but I thought having him stay among all the butterflies and the cheese doesn't suit his 'cool fighter' image.

The Champion of Justice is back (to your avi)!

Does that mean that you've conquered the vicious 'flu'?

I'm fine. This week and the week that follows would be crazy with work! SIGH
Yeah, It's hard to beat ITWY's layered characterization and I think it's nearly impossible to beat Da Ren at all. Actually, the second lead is a typical first lead (minus the tragic past/family issues I suppose). Think about Secret Garden's Jo Woon and Oh Jon Pyo.

SOS: is an interesting drama. It's done with utmost care to minute details. It thrives on the rich symbolism and the portrayal of life is very realistic. My problem though is that I don't particularly like or care about the leads. The second male lead is very interesting and the second female lead is my favorite. I'm kinda shipping them although they're not a ship to start with T_T.All the characters are flawed.

The movie was very good but very violent to my taste.

Hello Arashi :) How have you been?

I see you picked up QIHM again. I was wondering if you like it (which would be kinda hard after the awesomeness of ITWY).

I hope you like it when you get to watch it :) Lee Jong Suk did a good job in that drama (admittedly his acting was better in IHYV) but I love Nam Soon more than Su Ha. They're really similar characters if you think of it. He had some real chemistry with Kim Woo Bin and my sister and I found ourselves screaming for them to get a room already when they had their one-one (we're perverts, you see). But, they really teased us a lot and as I tell you sparks were in the air. Heirs would have been 10 times better if PSH and LMH had a quarter of their chemistry. I liked all the other boys too.

School: In my eyes, it was one of the best 2013 dramas but then again, I love school themed dramas. School has a slower pace and deals with the problems of students and their struggles (bullying, broken friendships, fear of future, parent's pressure..etc). The teachers learn to change their perspective/approach to teaching. We start with an idealistic teacher (In Jae) who believes that she has to make the best out of every single student and we watch her as she gets slapped (hard) by reality. And, her co-worker and complete opposite who would only care about raising the students'marks and would eventually ignore those he calls hopeless cases. There's no romance there but we have epic bromance. Personally, I thought that at some point it became over-the-top, unless the guys were gay (but they didn't say they were gay). The friendship was heartwarming. I love their teacher (In Jae).

So father is actually good and he's just playing bad guy and making everyone's life miserable to test them and make them stronger??

Hmmm! I don't know about that! Let's watch and see and I guess it's too far for the writer to pull that trick. Remember Jo Woon's mother in Secret Garden? The epitome of evil and trickery?

Me too. I never found KWB attractive and I've watched school (he had a main role there) but I never got him or liked him. He wowed me here but I'll doubt that I'll turn into a raving one of Woobies raving fangirls.

The wrist-grab doesn't offend me every time it happens but in Heirs, Tan would be coming out of a room and Eun Sang is standing somewhere and he would just grab/drag her along muttering a "come with me". Or sometimes he would just drag her along. No explanation.

I know >.< I have ISSUES with guys who think they can control their girl's hair length. I find it very demeaning. Yet, another reason to despise DLW.

Kim Wo Bin stole the show while my dear Min Ho was warming up. Now he's cute and lovely and that's what matters. Better late than never:D

Honestly, his character did nothing in the first half other than brooding, staring, glaring, and stalking. So, it may not be entirely LMH's fault. His character is another BOSSY guy. He keeps ordering his love around. Follow me, Leave, Wait for me, Come With me, Walk Straight...etc etc And, the awful wrist-grab. SIGH. Always dragging her around like she's a sac of potato. All of those factors contributes to my lukewarm feelings towards Tan Tan! It's a miracle that I still care about him at all.

Maybe we should watch Reply 1994 together?
And I really liked LMH's acting in the last 4 episodes or so. His face finally moved again and he looks and sound like the Oppa I like again. I was scared. I thought I've lost him <3

I think that DLW loves YQ in his own way. He does what HE thinks is the best and he expects her to live according to the his rules. For him, love is possession. And, he loves himself way more than her. Da Ren, on the other hand, understands and treasures everything about YQ. And, because she's as precious as Oxygen for him, he never risks losing her, even when it means he's never gonna confess his feelings. >.<

Sometimes, I think it's DR's fault that she takes him for granted. Whenever they disagree/or fight, he's the one to seek her first. Sometimes, I thought he needed to make her come and look for him and suffer without him. But, he just loves her more than himself I guess.

Proposing in front of people: When I was younger (and more naive) I thought it was so romantic. Now, I think of it as emotional blackmail. You will HATE the proposal scene in AGD.

Oh and you're always welcomed to rant about ITWY ^_^ It makes me happy to remember such great drama. I confess to rewatching the hotel episode a number of times :D :D :D

I should rewatch soon now that I've said goodbye to my little heroes. Honestly, the Strawberry Shortcake thing isn't making me happy. I'm still at episode 3 but all they talk about is sex (-_-) and it's not cute or sweet. It's weird. A girl called her new step-brother to listen to their parents doing it because she wants to share their happiness >.< How sick is that??
And Heirs is about to end. There's only 2 weeks left. What shall I do without it?? I became attached to it T_T

And, I really want to watch Reply 1994 but I want to marathon it after it ends.

I hate that Ding Li Wei guy. He made me feel uncomfortable even when he was being *charming* and did u see his tattoo? He's the worst kind of people and I hate how he think that he's the emperor of the universe and YQ should offer prayers day and night because he came back for her (-_-)! I wish I could punch him and...Okay, I stop here! I think you get the picture :)

Me too! I can't forgive her for forgetting his birthday! I mean how could she? Poor Da Ren! She takes him for granted. You know I just remembered I totally skipped the date part and Da Ren's foul mood. I can't remember why >.< I hate that Da Ren is so meek near his bossy women. Sometimes I want to yell at him for being so nice. He needs to love himself as much as he loves everyone else. He's too selfless.
I love YQ's parents. They're one of the rarest parents whom I don't skip all their parts.

Nic will come back :D

You'll want to slap YQ more I guess :P You mean the scene when they met near the fountain, right? Smiles and all then they found each other??? I love that scene :D :D :D

Ding Li Wei was this kind of passionate relationship that drove her out of her mind every time. You'll see what I mean as the show moves on. That's why Da Ren told her in the hotel that she's not herself when she's with DLW and he hates that YQ the most.

I love how detailed and layered this drama is. I plan to re-watch it because I'm sure I've missed a lot of details at the first time. Truth is *I know I'm pathetic*, I read recaps for the all the episodes sometime after I finished the drama. And, the dialogue is another thing I like about that drama. How powerful everything they say.

You make me wanna rewatch it :D I'm glad you're liking it.

You're welcome ^_^

So I guess we can't blame YQ for not finding out because we were fooled as well. Damn pretty faces, they freeze our logical thinking :D

I wish I don't have to rate the Heirs but we'll depend on the up-coming episodes. The show has become way better after episode 10 :D

Yesterday, I had to debate whether to sleep or watch Heirs and Oh! sleep isn't THAT important. I'm re-watching it today, anyways :P

SOS: may not be as weird as I think. I love the way the characters are sketched, very deep and thoughtful. I guess it just deals with your usual teenage problems. Right now, the second leads are more interesting.

Yeah and you have to read a lot of reviews before starting a drama. Although, sometimes I like to start a drama without even reading the synopsis. Sometimes, I just trust a random recommendation and go surprise myself :P
