and I Hear Your Voice it is. It got me holding my breath for the past 3 episodes. (ep 10 wasn't as tense though)

Monstar is surprisingly cool although I'm not much of a k-pop fan. I tried the show out of sheer boredom expecting nothing. But,I liked it and it makes me happy :)

Cyrano is another drama I approached with caution cuz I hated the movie as it bored me to sleep :P But, I like the female lead and some cases are just hilarious. If I can describe it with one word, it would be cute ;) (I didn't like last week's case, though)

I'm enjoying a summertime of drama :)

hhh Oscar was an awesome anime. I watched the whole thing in French and without subs despite that all the only French I knew at the time was Bonjour and Merci. And I'll have to agree on the shiver-inducing OST.

I'm currently watching Dating Agency Cyrano, I Hear Your Voice, and Monstar.I have dropped Lee Soon Shin at ep 12 but I've heard that they finally got IU to sing.

Oh, the rating system, see Nate (if u don't mind me calling u so), I think the main factor that influence my decision is whether I like the characters and start to care about them or not. If I didn't care about any character but the drama is gorgeous, and well-done it gets a 7 (TWTB- Nice Guy -though I don't like any character at all- the points are for the eye-candy). 49 Days was a case of mediocre direction, writing, and acting but it got me in the heart.

I know that Jandi was WAY STRONGER than Bella but she gives me the spineless vibes. It's very strange. Jandi was okay till I've seen Makino. Then it struck me, she's not as strong as she was supposed to be.
*I know this doesn't make any sense*

The problem was not with her acting as much as it was with her characterization. I think that YEH has done her best with that character. After all, Lee So Yeon had all kinds of issues: she was physically abused by her father, socially ostracized, cruelly unwanted (by her mother), sexually abused, and finally abandoned by the one and only person who promised to never leave her side. And how did the writer deal with all of these issues? completely put them aside, cancel every bit of personality she had, and turn her into a pawn between two guys. Mind You, that was NOT a character it was an impossibly colossal heap of TRAUMAS. Even if So Yeon were a robot, she must have had all of her circuits burnt by ep 5 of the drama or shall I say trauma!

So, I have compared BOF with Twilight before, not based on the plot but cuz both are over buzzed media-junk. I'll have to say I absolutely HATED the female lead in BOTH. Why everyone fell for Bella/ Jandi form the first place is still an unsolved mystery. Anyways, Gotta say I took BOF better than Twilight. It's not that it sucked less, but for me Jun Pyo was more of a human than Edward ever was (LOL I know Eddie is NOT human :P)
