This is his second drama and he made his debut last year with MJTY and his acting was incredible. The industry is toxic. I really thought there won't something as toxic as kpop.
After reading all below comments about the director i really don't want him to work with Tian Jia Rui even more now. There's a video i saw on tiktok where Tian Jia Rui was trembling uncontrollably from the cold water, yet he kept getting back in, it was painful to watch.
Then there's the scene with the eggs. Apparently, they used the wrong type, and he ended up getting injured. I don't care if he favours him or not this guy treats his actors as slaves and looks like no one leaves his set in Complete health. No wonder both MJTY and FOF are full of new actors he knows they are desperate and they can't complain. You really need to be obedient and not complain if you want to work with him. No wonder the casts are really close they do have a trauma bonding lol. Now that i looked at his works he's the same director that my aunt used to complain about like 10 years ago and she's a Yangmi fan by the way.
Tian Jia Rui is such an incredibly talented actor and his dedication to his craft is evident in every scene. I know Tian Jia Rui options are limited now since he's a new actor but i hope he gains a solid fanbase and gets away from him as quickly as possible.
Anyway His next project, Ran Shuang Wei Zhou, is a YOUKU drama with one of my favorite actresses, Wang Yu Wen. If you watched Once We Get Married, she’s the female lead there too. This time, the drama is directed by Liu Chang.
