He's a dragon demon (not a god!) , i read he's a river deity in the classics of the mountain and seas
Ah, you might be onto something. If you recall, when Lord Bingyi relinquished his inner core to become mortal, there was a golden entity fading behind him. It bore a resemblance to a dragon, almost as if it were part of his very essence. This imagery seemed significant, hinting that his transformation was more profound than it appeared. The golden form behind him wasn't just a spectacle, it looked symbolic, perhaps representing the dragon's power or his spiritual core. It's possible that the dragon-like figure was tied to his sacrifice, marking the loss of his divine abilities as dragon demon as he chose a mortal life.

Why are all the actors voice so weak amd depressing in this drama? They've cried in almost every episodes. Yes,…
The majority of these characters are deeply depressed, which explains the constant emotional weight in their voices. It's as if the sadness is so overwhelming that even the smallest moments trigger tears. The lack of strength in their voices adds to that sense of fragility and despair they’re all experiencing. It's not just about the big tragic events but the ongoing, relentless emotional burden they carry.

Person Tian Jia Rui
Some of the behind-the-scenes footage of him trembling was tough to watch. I truly admire all his hard work, and I hope all his efforts will be appreciated. His portrayal of Zhuo Yi Chen was incredible, and I hope we’ll get to see more of him in the future.

This episode was incredibly emotional. Zhu Yan stepping up as an unofficial therapist for both Zhuo Yi Chen and Wen Xiao was heartwarming. Finally, Zhuo Yi Chen broke that longstanding promise with Zhu Yan—he’s clearly accepted his fate, but I can’t bear the thought of him dying. The chemistry between Zhuo Yi Chen, Zhu Yan, and Wen Xiao is astonishing; who knew three characters could be so effortlessly connected? Zhuo Yi Chen’s self-sacrifice, met by Zhu Yan's equal dedication, was powerful. All the cast gave incredible performances, especially Tian Jia Rui and Neo—the way they executed their dialogue was amazing. Seeing Zhu Yan in action was another highlight, and I’m anxious about YL’s well-being. This group has found a family in each other; separating them would be unbearable.

Episode 25 was quite emotional and probably may favourite episode so far.

Despite his selfless efforts to protect his town, Zhuo is ultimately shunned by the very people he fought for, cast aside without even a chance to defend himself. His story is a painful reminder of the fickleness and ingratitude in human nature, especially toward those who sacrifice for the greater good. This shunning not only highlights the transient loyalty of society but also underscores the heartbreaking fate of heroes abandoned by those they swore to protect. I'm glad he's mature and that he can finally understand ZY.

Tian Jia Rui’s portrayal of Zhuo Yi Chen is nothing short of exceptional. He captures Zhuo's vulnerability and depth with a raw intensity, making the character’s struggles deeply moving and unforgettable.

In this episode, Zhu Yan and Wen Xiao's behavior toward Zhuo Yi Chen is almost parental, especially Wen Xiao, whose caring, protective actions show her aunt side. Also how Zhu Yan was ready to use his demonic powers Infront of mortals when he rarely does that. The added closeness between the characters brought some warmth. And we finally saw a bit of maybe skinship between WX and ZY. And that part when he realises that ZYC is facing the same fate as him. Now ZYC will be the most understanding of ZY.

And YL despite getting geeting hurt by ZYC but still believing in ZYC when he didn't even believe in himself he's truly the sunshine of the team.

As for Li Lun, his actions feel almost hopelessly misguided. Despite the hardships he's endured, he still chooses to misjudge Zhuo, never truly understanding his genuine intentions. His mistrust drives him further away from the opportunity for friendship and mutual respect, leaving him in painful isolation. Instead of joining ZY and the others to protect his home, he clashes with them, aligning himself with the very forces that drive them apart.

Aaa, the sword technique of Bingyi is so cool! Edward Guo knows how to make a beautiful drama, that's for sure.I've…
The moment with the sword was so painful to watch seeing his determination clash with such heartbreak, especially since that sword is the only thing remaining of his family. It probably meant a lot to him than just being a formidable weapon. He truly deserves all the hugs.

Someone is about to enter his demon phase. Not sure if I should continue watching one episode at a time or do…
I wonder how Zhuo Yi Chen will react when he realizes he's or becoming a demon? It's been his worst fear since childhood, those nightmares haunted him for years, and he couldn't sleep peacefully until the fish demon granted him the ability not to dream again.

I actually rewatched all the fight scenes, and they’re beautifully executed. Both the SML and SFL had numerous fight sequences since both of their characters are skilled martial artists. It’s impressive that neither Tian Jia Rui nor Cheng Xiao used stunt doubles they did it all themselves.

Hi before I start this is BY a villain here? And who is his love interest? Also, who is the other one who lokes…
No, he's not and we haven’t seen much of BY yet, only glimpses of him through his descendants or possibly his reincarnation, Zhuo Yi Chen. There are two main villains: Wengyi, a human, and Li Lun, a demon and former friend of the male lead.

Here's a brief character summary:

Male Lead: He’s not just any demon he’s a powerful one, with a dramatic flair and a lively personality that makes him enjoyable to be around. He's also very caring and dependable. He always saves everyone.

Female Lead: A goddess who, while not as powerful as the male lead, is very intelligent, mature, and grounded. She’s his love interest, and together they have a cozy, drama-free relationship.

Second Male Lead: Heroic and resilient, he’s powerful in his own right. His true identity remains a mystery, but for now, he’s seen as a mortal who wields a magical sword. His sword-fighting scenes are something to look forward to.

Second Female Lead: A strong, independent human, and maybe the only one in the group. Skilled in archery, she doesn’t rely on anyone and embodies a true “girl boss” spirit. And no, she doesn’t have a romantic interest in the male lead. I also love her fight scenes.

The plot isn’t overly heavy, just balanced right. But there are plenty of plot twists, especially in the later episodes.
