I think Jandi and Hyeri friend's parents got divorced? Jandi hates the idea of getting a stepmom and would not accept it. I think? have to wait for subs to be sure.

How rude they are towards TK, majority of it is Grandma fault. She's the one who put them against TK and talked badly about him to them. So it's not strange how rude JM and CM is.

I was honestly surprised that Soojung was the first one to fall in the Gong House. But it's understandable when i think about it. She doesn't seem to have any friends really and don't really seem to know how to treat friends. She is also extra sensitive to having hard time to have a child. Seems like only YD truly understand how she felt. Even if JM has lost a child aswell, shes too prideful and selfish to show empathy of that level.
YD was the perfect person for it. She's tough and not letting people walking over her but shes also kind and know how to deal with people and show compassion. Guess it's a reason she also was such a good teacher.
YD also suffered something similiar to Soojung so she was able to relate. No one else in the Gong House could understand how she felt. Not saying her behavior has been acceptable but it's understandable. Living in the Gong Family doesn't make it better either. Considering how Grandma is.

I do like the direction they going in. It was sad that she was told that she didn't have a child cause she was mean.

Do think also the family scenes, especially YD and Soojung conflict getting solved are important for the future. It was actually my favorite scene in the episode.
