I've had this discussion on twitter alot before. I also can't forgive the writer of IBN for turning the youngest couple into guest cast. It was the first weekender of that writer and it really showed. She couldn't balance 3 couples and decided to just sideline one. It's a pity since i had so much hope for them. Writer for this drama though has alot of experience. She has also written good younger couple. For example the Ah-choo couple from Wolgyesu. With the younger couple being Lee Se Young and Hyun Woo.

If you look at the picture of Jang Soo holding Kang Soo, he was really young. So i'm sure Jang Soo was never the father. If he was the father, that would pretty much make Mi Ae a predator more or less. Jang Soo look to be in his teens, 13-15. I'm still sure Jang Mi Ae is the mother and abandoned him there. She probably stayed there to be close to him for awhile, but cared more about striking it rich so she stole everything for Dokgo Tak. That's my opinion atleast.
