Yeah. From the trailers, it seems like she will latch onto someone. There is a voice over where Shijiu wears not expensive clothes but more white cloths and also cut alittle of her hair(symbolism to start over?). Cuijiu stands outside Pearl Pavilition and there is a voice over of Duanwu/Su Muzhe saying : If you really want to start over, then do fair work as the master of Pearl Pavilion. So it seems to indicate we will indeed get a redemption arc from her.

In one of the spoiler pictures/vids shes carrying Xiami in her arms. He has been hit with an arrow. She was also hit with blood coming from her mouth. It seems from the episode 18 trailer it will happen.
On ep 18 the angst officially begins and the beginning of Duanwu being reborn as Su Muzhe and her success in the pearl industry. Gonna hurt, but i'm also looking forward to see Su Muzhe
