Ok idk if my previous post made sense to u so i'll explain again. Basically ying yuan changes his mind abt the wedding coz he knew how much he loved yan dan so he goes to find her but yan dan already killed herself at that point and chose to forget him so she entered something (I forgot what its called but u saw in the trailer that she had white hair? That was that part ) so he was too late. Yan dan gets reincarnated after losing her memories. Ying yuan ends up alone. Many yers later ying yuan is reincarnated as tang zhoe but all this while yan dan spent time with yu mo who became a demon for her and left his noble title. Yan dan slowly fell for him but tang zhou came into the picture and yu mo backed away thinking yan dan would never love him back coz he knows how much yan dan loves ying yuan. Yan dan doesn't know who tang zhou is at this point and tang zhou doesn't either. In the latter part when they do get their memories back yan dan doesn't accept tang zhou who started liking her while not having his memories. Yan dan realises that yumo was the one she liked all this time. Idk man the story is rlly messed up at times but enjoyable since I was rooting for yu mo the whole time. Yingyuan/tangzhou rlly doesn't deserve her since she suffered alot in her 1st life coz of him.

No ying yuan never married his fiance idk who's going around changing the story but that never happened! Please don't get confused by their words.. yingyuan changes his mind and goes to save yan dan who already killed herself and got reincarnated. Yan dan chose yu mo in her second life when tang zhou came along. Even though tang zhou came but he never won her heart.

But it would be interesting to see yu mo be played by cheng yi if they had followed the novel because ying yuans character was so hateful many ppl prefer yu mo even I do myself. I hope they make ying yuan more likeable in the drama version tho.
