Maybe i should make a discussion page. I repeated this so many times 😭 Anyways, it's split into 2 different dramas under different names so will have different plots so no cliffhanger. This way u do not need to wait a whole year for it to air and they initially planned to air it back to back (not sure if that still is the case) but it will not take a whole year don't worry.
In the novel li xing (her cousin) was partly responsible for helping her get a divorce not JCY. I wonder if it's gonna be the same in the drama since she didn't succeed so far. All these jiang chang yang scenes didn't even happen in the novel. In fact he didn't even appear much until after her divorce. Liu chang wasn't even the sl, it was supposed to be Li Xing. Liu chang just hated her to the core and was the antagonist but ig they made him soften up to her in the drama so quick and made him sl/antagonist instead.
I wish they didn't kill off the mum tho, in the novel she was alive and she doted on her and she and her father and brother brought her back home from that family and also helped her get a divorce. Her dad also had concubines who had children but they were not evil and treated Mudan good. She also had many brothers and nieces and nephews. I hoped they kept those scenes of Mu dan with her big family instead of making her suffer for some angst. Now she has no family since she can't even rely on her dad anymore. Not completely sure if he cares abt her in the drama but something tells me he doesn't considering how he got himself another wife after her mother died. 🥲
Anyways Li Xing will appear in tomorrows eps. Idk if they will keep him as a love interest or not since they replaced him with liu chang. I shall wait and see.
