I have to admit I did not like this arc in the novel either. I don't care for politics which is why I avoid dramas with heavy politics. This arc is the most boring part in the novel imo even without the deleted scenes and cuts and its a pity they had to split it into 2 seasons making it seem like season 2 is more slow than s1. The latter part would be more interesting to watch.

Are ppl rlly treating this like season 2? Its just part 2 imo. If it was an actual s2 we would not get 23 eps since this was filmed together with season 1. If it wasn't for the rule it would have aired with season 1 and ppl wouldn't be saying season 1 is better and season 2 is slow paced. Stupid rules caused this and cut so many scenes.
