I'm with them on the best taiwanese bl. I've watched all history seasons and was crazy about trapped. But this one is just on a different level. I've never watched a bl series where every minute made me crazy, with such simple plot but so much depth and emotions.

My guess (and prayer) is that they make up in the bridge scene and episode 6 will be them finally being together. I don't want to think of other theories coz I'll go crazy if season 1 ends badly and we have to wait a month for season 2.

Oh my god this makes my heart break for Shi De more.

I just realized the agony Shi De was probably feeling at the end of episode 4. He seemed to be not feeling well (we see him rubbing his eyes and head a couple of times, might still be because of the night at the infirmary), he's hurt emotionally because of Shu Yi going out on a date with a girl, and then he's shocked  and felt betrayed by his cousin. And then his heart is going to be totally shattered when Shu Yi says he doesn't want to be with a man. MY HEART CAN'T THIS SERIES.

And Sam showed all these emotions with barely any words. He and Yu are just so natural we get lost in the character and emotions they play.

Thank you so much. Yes, in the confession he mentioned a couple of things that I didn't see them say like "You said the person I like is lucky". I never heard Shu Yi say that. My wish/guess is that there are scenes of that night that haven't been shown and will be like flashbacks. But really appreciate the translations <3!

Now that you mention it, that "Don't go" also confused the hell out me. Please someone explain at least these lines.

Thank you! The writer of this series is too witty. It's sad to lose some of her genius writing because of bad translation :( Yeah, hope someone retranslates even just the crucial lines.

Need help in understanding part of Shi De's confession. He says something like " I told you I'll get to you when you're hurt. But I will never do that to you" What does that mean exactly? My interpretation is that he will be there for Shu Yi when Shu Yi is hurt but will never hurt Shu Yi himself. But the translation sounded a bit off for me. I don't want to misinterpret something very crucial in their story so I hope someone can explain it to me :)

In one of the trailers, Shu Yi says to Shi De he doesn't want to be with a guy. It looks to be a scene in the health center, probably while he is bandaging Shu Yi's foot.. My guess is Shi De loses all hope when Shu Yi says that after Shu Yi already knows how deeply Shi De feels for him.

On a side note, I'm going crazy over here waiting for episode 5. I've been looking at trailers and OST again and again hoping to get more glimpses of what will happen in that bridge. I am so ready to start seeing Shu Yi start reciprocating and feeling what Shi De does. Shi De has suffered enough :( His face after he learns of Shu Yi's date and Shu Yi's friends ask him if he and Shu Yi are good friends just broke my heart. His " yeah, friends, we're good friends" is too painful to watch.

I feel the same. There was no malicious intent aside from spending time with Shu Yi. Them sleeping close together just happened because of Shu Yi "protecting" Shi De.

I think it might be Shi De's imagination? Shu Yi jumped into the water because of Yu Xin. It might be in Shi De's mind him jumping in because of Shu Yi and Shu Yi jumping in for him. It was shown while Shi De was singing and reminiscing on his love for Shu Yi that's why I thought it's just in his mind. The scene of him just floating underneath the water is him imagining Shu Yi will never jump in for him? Or I might just be overthinking things because this seres is literally all I think about right now

I feel you. I barely focused at work last week waiting for ep 4. It will be so much worse this week.

Best 2021 series and episode so far. Might end up being the best series ever for me. This series is just perfect.

Can I please have a fast forward button to next Friday? I've literally watched ep 4 five times straight and I don't know how I'll survive 7 days of wait. Every minute of episode 4 is just perfect. Shi De's confession made me tear up. Shu Yi stopping Shi De and the doctor at the end of the episode made MY heartbeat stop. Does he even know his jealous!? Oh my god. Already counting the hours til next eposode.

So cute. Too bad I couldn't understand anything they say.

Same here, haha. I'm watching almost all episodes especially ep 3 every day since it aired last Friday.

I agree with AnniaD that the reason for Shi De and Shu Yi not getting together in S1 might be due to the gender issue. In the trailers there is a scene where Shu Yi says he doesn't see himself with a man. In that scene, it looks like Shi De is kneeling in front of him (probably to help him with something? not sure why). In the closing song (end of every episode), we see Shi De looking up at Shu Yi then looking down with a broken expression. I think this is where Shi De gives up as what Shu Yi says is a confirmation that there really is no chance for Shu Yi to like him. That look Shi De does really breaks my heart.
This is just my guess though and I'm still crossing my fingers that they get together by end of S1. Though I love AnniaD's theory of Shu Yi fighting for Shi De. I just hope we don't have to wait for March to see it.
