Can somebody please tell me why Fan kills the emperor or please give me the chapter number? Also, How does Chen…
I totally agree. I prefer the drama Fan Xian over the novel one. In the novel he was quite the womanizer and also his personality is not as nice and selfless as in the drama.

Hi Angie’s, yes in the drama, they said she’s adopted because China censored. In the novel, she is his biological sister and yes, it’s really gross. And because she’s in love with him and her brother is in love with Ye Qing Mei. She became obsessed with beating her, but she she could never be as brilliant as her.

Hi I am so sorry for the reply! The first princes mom is actually very greatful for Ye Qing Mei for saving her life, she even told her son to protect Fan Xian. So Fan Xian is scared of the emperor, but not because he feared for his life, but more for the life of the fan family and everyone he loved and he knows what the emperor is capable of. I think that it’s not that it took away from his natural carefree character. I think it has something to do with him being mature overtime. With all the things he went through When he first arrived in the capital you’re right. He was more carefree because he didn’t know how dangerous and evil the capital is, and I think he still himself, but he just more careful and play the game better :)

I’ve been curious about the trio’s friendship. How did they become friends? The emperor and his two them have been friends since childhood. Fan Jian's mother was the emperor’s nanny, or you could say his wet nurse, which is how the two of them grew up together. Chen Ping Ping, on the other hand, is a eunuch who served in the mansion of the emperor’s father, who was just a prince and not the Emperor of Qing.
The three of them traveled together and met Ye Qing Mei in Dan Zhou. They hit it off and became friends, leading Ye Qing Mei to follow them back and stay permanently in the Qing Capital. The four of them harbored ambitions to create a happier world, which inspired them to work together to help the emperor, who had no right to the throne, claim his position. However, sadly, all the promises the emperor made to them went unfulfilled. He became a power-hungry tyrant, betraying their friendship and love.
Does he trust his two friends, or is he just using them? Why is he hiding his martial arts skills from everyone? He hides his martial arts skills because he has a bigger plan for the future, and it's not the right time to reveal them. According to the book, the emperor’s personality changes after he experiences an accident. His relationship with the trio was strong until he went to war. Ye Qing Mei gave him a book that enhances his martial arts skills, similar to one she had given the grandmasters. For some reason, however, he had an accident and ended up completely paralyzed. He came to believe she had something to do with it, thinking it was her way of controlling him, which led to his distrust of her. (it wasn’t YQM fault)
During his paralysis, he met the mother of the first prince, who was a prisoner of war but cared for him during his recovery. The first prince's mother and Chen Ping Ping actually had feelings for each other, but the king later made her his concubine.
This event marked a turning point; the emperor no longer fully trusts Ye Qing Mei and becomes paranoid and fearful of her. She, in turn, realizes how power hungry he is and stops disclosing her secrets, especially regarding her sniper gun. Ye Qing Mei also wanted a world where everyone can be equal. She said “ a world where everyone can be their own emperor” which he thinks threatens his monarchy.
Does he love his children? His love for his children is very limited. In the end he loves himself and his power above all.
In the book I was actually more invested in the Emperor and Ye Qing Mei tragic romance. They used to be so in love in the beginning and about how when he first became emperor he used to sneak out of the palace and climb over Taiping Villa walls to be with her. But in the end love isn't enough. I also want to know what Ye Qing Mei felt in her final moments when she realized the man she loved was the person behind her murder.
In the end of the story even the emperor questions himself if he could have gotten where he is without her. but he left a final message for Fan Xian on the back of a letter Ye Qing Mei wrote to him years ago that he wasn't wrong.
To be honest what I would love more that Joy of life season 3 is a Joy of Life Prequel.

No problem! I enjoy discussing this drama and novels, especially since not many of my friends are interested in Joy of Life. It's nice to talk to someone about it. If you have any further questions, just ask I'll be happy to answer.

No Chen Ping Ping leg injury isnt cause by the emperor but his wheelchair will pay a big part in the emperor assassination attempt. Its actually a secret weapon that Ye Qingmei left behind for Chen Ping Ping to protect himself.
The crown prince is in love with his aunt the Princess and the princess is in love with the emperor her biological brother which is why she's jealous because the emperor love Ye Qing Mei. But in the drama its mention that the princess is adopt due to censored since incest is not allow.

I think it will definitely happen because Chen Ping Ping death is the last straw that lead Fan Xian to rebel against the Emperor. Before this Fan Xian discovered that the Emperor kill his mother but he didn't do anything because he fear for the Fan family and Chen Ping Ping safety, but in the end his silent still couldn’t protect his love ones so he decided to rebel.
As for the Emperor he truly is the most vile character I ever read about. He was a powerless prince who did not have the right to the throne it was Ye Qing Mei, Chen Ping Ping and Fan Jian who help him walk every step of the way to were he is now. But in the end he fear Ye Qing Mei influenced and power so he decided to kill her.
Idk if it will happen in season 3 since the novel is pretty long. But the novel and dramas timeline doesn't match for example in the novel Fan Xian and Wan er married very early in the novel and he also took in a concubine who was his maid that he grew up in Dan Zhou and he also had other romantic relationship with other female characters . We can see that this doesn't happen in the dramas.
I heard that Bailu will no longer accept roles in idol dramas, which is quite sad because I live for her historical and romantic dramas such as till the end of the moon and Kunning palace. However, it’s her decision. As she mentioned, now that she has reached the age of 30, she wants to focus on working in dramas with more serious roles and plots. Even though I'm sad, I wish her the best. 🥹💕
This drama exceeded my expectations! The plot and chemistry between the main leads is so good that I wish it was a full length drama. Also the relationship between the Fl and her dad is adorable! It also makes me kinda sad because there are many mini dramas actors and actresses that are so talented but they don't get the recognition or be promoted to full length drama.
Given who the FL is I very much doubt that this will be a short-length drama, she usually does full length stuff.…
I agree, I've seen her in other drama and she is not the best actress. The fact that she a lot older then him for me isn't a concern but the chemistry. If this is Richard first full-length drama I hope its isn't affected by her acting skills.

Its because the emperor is the person that killed Fan Xian mom and the emperor also kill Chen ping ping because he failed to assassinated the emperor to avenge Ye Qing Mei.
Hi guys, I saw a video on YouTube that claims Li Yunrui agency takes away 80 percent of his earnings in dramas. Is that true? For Blossom he made 4 million yuan but he only got to keep 20 percent of it. If so, that’s really sad because he works so hard, and it seems like they are taking advantage of him.
