The ending hit me so hard. This drama is so good tbh
The scene that the classmates looked for the document in the school yard got me real thought. It is true that not all people can change after all Btw I think Jong Suk's crime should have been exposed. He even wanted to kill Kyung Min, he didn't deserve to be praised like that.
How did Kyung Min know that Cheol changed his mind? Didn't he only tell Jong Suk about it? Kyung Min still seemed not know as he rushed to the roof top. And did they reveal the story happened a year ago? What made Kyung Min's wife wanted to commit suicide with him? It wasn't only because of the photo book in the warehouse, was it?
I plan to watch this drama, but how come the rating and the review are so different? I like crime and action genre, may I ask for some advice for this one?
episode 36... i was waiting for that slap haishi gave jiangming because i just got SO ANGRY on her behalf. like…
Well, judging the situation was that HS's identity was about to be exposed, and it was a serious crime back then that could be given a death sentence, his plan was the only solution to keep her life. However, tbh, yes, he deserved that slap. If only he could have said something about the whole situation before deciding himself. To be fair, with that characteristics of HS, there was no way she would accept the plan, but as he was willing to be her partner, at least tell her the truth for once.
So I decided to rewatch the drama. Currently in the first half, gotta say I really miss FJM, HS and ZY relationship back then. It was so fun and simple at the time.
After watching 13 episodes came to conclusion that this this drama is kind of boring but fascinating at the same…
So true about the plot. Though I find it a slow-burn drama, a bit boring at first since nothing really tense happened, I couldn't help myself from keeping watching it. I think it moved faster and more interesting from ep 23 or at least from ep 30. Still a worth watching drama tbh.
I gotta say I feel sorry for FJM in the end. He wanted a free life with HS so much as he asked for breaking baixi. Then it turned out it was like he could never escape his destiny to be bonded with the loyal. Talking about HS, I guess it was even worse for her: raising someone else's child (I know they all knew each other, but still), having to carry a burden as an empress, and could not express her love for FJM anymore. To be fair, though I think the ending would have hit harder if FJM had died, this one somehow still made me feel depressed.
