The deleted scene was VERY needed. It highlights the reaction of a victim trying to get rid of the “marks”…
At best the series is poorly edited and can’t seem to decide what it wants to be. A romantic comedy it is not. It is not really a drama either. It is playing out like a lakorn or telemuendo novella! 😳 😱 😆
I’m not sure if everyone saw the deleted scene? The deleted scene was VERY needed. It highlights the reaction…
I wish I knew the reason because it really would have added depth to the storyline.
The series in general is very choppy on transitions. I am going to say this was a poor editing choice!
This episode really took me by surprise. The first two were very rom com and so when I watched today mom, my Spidy Sense went off! The mental illness and social issues are impossible to ignore and be concerned about!
Kram's insanity is on different level!!Why did he do that out of blue!!
It’s actually usually not out of the blue. Self harm is a form of mental illness. It’s very real and sadly quite prevalent in the LGBTQ+ 🏳️🌈 community

Exactly! I am not sure how they are going to address so these issues with only 5 episodes left but sure would wish they could open the door for conversations to happen in the community!

This episode really took a turn from what I thought the series was going to be like. There is defiantly some layers to each of the characters and the clinician in me is interested to see how this will play out.
Rak: His reaction to being SA is actually very accurate to some victims. It’s almost an inability to move or react in a way that others may think is not defensive enough. Insecurities and his reaction to the stairwell scene was very revealing to some issues that need to be addressed.
Dino: He is a wealthy and well-dressed son of hotel owner. He is bright as he is helping Rak with his studies. His desire to protect and defend those he cares about brings out a violent streak in him.
Kram: Self harm is no joke. The script is actually very accurate as to what motivates and the behaviors someone who self harms possesses. His description of what would be “pretty with blood” is what I have heard clients actually say!
Mek: Sexual abuse, and/ or intimidation is also something that should never be taken lightly. It appears Mek is spiraling out of control and acting out, due to feeling he has lost everything. These are not excuses but reasons to believe there is more to his story. I think there are many layers to this character that they may or may not address. Mental illness come in all shapes and sizes and I hope that they do!
So there’s definitely quite a bit of material, mental illness, self harm, insecurities, violence that can be addressed . I’m interested to see how they are going to handle all these behaviors in future episodes.
All I can say… Chot had a scene 🎬 in ep 10 that made watching the whole series all worthwhile!
Other than that, I wish them all happy ever after in BL Rainbow 🌈 Land!
