Title The Legend of Rosy Clouds
I don't think I should waste my time then😂. I was already worried with Deng wei being the SL.
For me it depends on what kind of SML character it is. Sometimes they are cast with a SFL and have their own storyline, while other times the SML is just a discarded love interest (who often turns evil out of jealousy). I’m not super fond of the latter so if my favorite actor is reduced to that kind of role, then the series need to be really good for me to be interested.

The news reporters in this series are total badasses. They watch a man shoot another right in front of them and they just stand there, no flinching

Haha, he is the most tight-lipped kisser out there

No wonder that police station isn’t getting much done. There are all tapping their keyboards working on that Windows 7 screensaver 😂

lust the series shouldn’t be able to be a sequel to this, the actor playing Dan here is playing a different named character in that series

Please, can someone who's already watched both this drama and the 2016 version tell me if they're directly connected?…
Many of the characters are the same. So more of a standalone sequel than reboot/not connected.
