Am I the only one who is worried about how Build's character Pete and him are similar?Like both of them are pretty…
That alien faced psycho based Pete's character on Biu. In fact even Kinn's character was based on Mile. She even admitted that Vegas is like her. Make of that what you will.

You’re right; it’s quite icky. But BL fans tend to be quite delulu, so they don’t like paying attention…
I don't believe it's just BL fans that are unbothered by age gaps. The majority of Korean and Chinese het romance dramas nowadays have age gaps of 8-14 years between the male and female leads and I don't see very many people complaining. Granted the age gaps in these shows aren't as bad as age gaps in western movies and shows where the dude is about to turn to dust and the woman still smells like breast milk. The last thing I watched was quite a while ago but it's a Korean movie where the male lead is 30 but playing a high school student and the female lead is 20 playing his high school romantic interest. Hardly anyone complained in the comments. Funnily enough when the age gaps are reversed and the female lead is older, that's when I usually see the complaints. Gee I wonder why that is?

Person Zhang Zhe Han
I was really looking forward to seeing Formed Police Unit with Johnny Huang, Wang Yibo and our sweet Zhang Zhehan. I remember looking at the mydramalist page for this movie when I first heard about it and it appeared to be an all male cast. That would've been epic.

Title Lost
I've noticed a lot of people bringing up My Mister whenever they discuss Lost, but I've never watched My Mister.…
Since I have no faith in most people, my guess is it's something shallow like My Mister is between an older man and a younger woman (46 and 28) but this drama is between an older woman and younger man (47 and 35) which for some strange reason scares people.

Probably a petty complaint that no one cares about besides me, but initially I was very excited to see casting of an age appropriate actress with the male lead (as apposed to an 8-12 year age difference as is the norm). Then I was disappointed to see that she was playing a college aged girl who will later be in a romance with an older male. Most people don't care about this but age gaps (whether between the actors or the characters) are triggering to me so I usually avoid shows with them . Too bad as I thought this show was interesting. Oh well time to look for another one.

Okay so I heard something on this Facebook group I’m in about how in China or something some fans are not liking…
The pedophilia thing makes no sense at all. China (and S. Korea and the west for that matter) routinely has dramas where the male lead is 10+ years older than the female lead, whether it's the character or the actor. In Luo Yunxi's new show "Lie to Love" his character is 10 years older than the female lead, and that's a romance. No one is complaining about that, but they complain about RanWan when their relationship is probably going to be shown as a bromance at most?

Because she is literally a child when they met and she had been living in seclusion with no sense of gender difference…
Are you saying the seemingly grown up male leads both fell in love with a child?! Yikes.

I don't care that they changed Shi Mei into a girl. However, I just have this nagging feeling that Shi Mei is no longer the antagonist and that they removed the complexity of this character and reduced her to an innocent love interest whose death will catalyze Mo Ran's story.
