I do recommend reading the manga even if the drawing style is outdated. This is such a slow burn and he protects her identity with all his might! The drama rushes everything so you don't really have time to understand the characters and connect with then. As you said, Sano is barely present, while in the manga you get lots of Sano and Ashiya alone where you get to know them better ☺️ Unfortunately, cold ML is like a plague in j/k/c/t-dramaland 😂

In all fairness, the drama does not do the manga justice, I absolutely adored the ML in the manga. But then again, I was like 18 when I read this so I saw it through a different lens back then 😂

That part broke me. I was fine until then, but I can't even imagine being in that position. And what makes it even sadder is that her first thought was probably that he would not be able to draw again, that's why she was trying so hard to put them back... absolutely heartbreaking
