Yeah you're right. I am quite enjoying those EPs and the Saintes's really likeable. It's just that seeing how the ML has really interactions with other female characters, I just hoped we'd see more of the main couples moments.

I am at 38 and FL's screentime is still the same, but with everything else that's going on, it can make you forget about the romance entirely, which sometimes makes me wonder if the romance was necessary.

This literally has the same plot as kdrama's The Beauty Inside, but historical era? It's interesting.

I am currently at episode 28, it caught me off guard. I am so confused right now. Can someone help me understand the meaning of the Frozen era or Forbidden Door without spoiling the rest of the plot?

Oh no I wouldn't compare between these dramas. But the main couples kind of have same characteristics.

There is a romance but a very slow-burn one. Although the main couples characteristics is
a bit similar to Tan taijin and LSS, thats why i was suggesting. Especially the ML, he is a bit like Tan taijin in terms of strategic planning, thinking a head, cunning moves
and secrets.

All I know is that Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu became my top chinesse actors in this drama.

Try to watch Who Rules the World. Zhao Lusi is amazing in that drama

First of all ML's dad's mom was not a good person. She didn't care for him and then left him eventually. So it's hard to convince her to stay when she was always a horrible person. Secondly, even if they managed to convince her to stay, then that would complicate ML's dad's story. What if that causes for the father and ML's mom not to meet entirely? The father's dream was to have a family and a child as well because of how he grow up. If his mother was there for him growing up, wouldn't his dream be different? The reason ML's parents liked each other was the desire to make their own family. That's why I think it's complicated.

Haha, I only watched Come and Hug Me and the father is similar to this. Are there more of her dramas like these?
