Statement by Police representatives
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency has assigned 16 of the 21 cases related to Kim Se-ui to a newly established intensive investigation team within the Gangnam Police Station’s Investigation Division 3. This team will comprehensively manage cases involving different accusers and overlapping content, and is reportedly prioritizing those with slower progress.
Five cases involving actor Kim Soo-hyun, who drew public attention following Ga Se-yeon’s revelations, will remain under the jurisdiction of the existing Gangnam Police Station investigation team.
Commissioner Park Jeong-bo explained, “The investigation into the Kim Soo-hyun case has already made significant progress. We have sent the seized materials to the National Forensic Service (NFS) for analysis and are awaiting the results. As these cases are at a relatively advanced stage, the existing team will continue to handle them without any changes.”

Title Knock Off
Honestly, I think Disney+ is going to hit the jackpot when it finally releases the “Knock-off”. Even though the premiere got pushed back, these past few months have sent Kim Soo Hyun’s popularity through the roof. You can really see that he’s become a global phenomenon. People are waking up, starting to see the dangers of manipulation and disinformation online, and even those who had never heard of him before are now searching for every bit of news about him.
I’ve seen comments from people all over the world saying the story has been covered in their own countries (Hungary for example). They didn’t know who he was before, but now they’re watching his movies and dramas, getting curious about the person behind the headlines. Once Kim Soo Hyun wins that first lawsuit, Disney+ can drop the drama and I’m sure it’s going to shatter every revenue record out there.

Based on the information presented, there are several inconsistencies in the alleged relationship between Kim…
If you actually read the article, you’ll see it’s an official report detailing the mission carried out by the 1st Division Search Battalion — the very same days when Gaseyon publicly claimed that those writings were authored by Kim Soo Hyun. The timeline exposes the lie: the supposed writings were dated exactly to the day of the operation. In other words, not only could Kim Soo Hyun not have written them, but it would have been impossible for him to be on leave from the military or to have met the deceased, as claimed.
Even though the article focuses primarily on the mission itself and mentions Kim Soo Hyun only briefly, it stands as verifiable evidence from 2018 — a clear contradiction of the fabricated story. Once again, the truth catches up fast. Lies really do have short legs.

Will do! JUSTICE FOR KIM SOO HYUN!!!
Justice will come soon. Even Kim Se ui knows that.

[Urgent Statement]
Kim Se-ui’s Threat Against Investigators — Legal Implications and the Need for Immediate Action

After remaining completely silent for over a month since September 30, 2025,
Kim Se-ui finally spoke for the first time on November 2 through his YouTube channel GSR.

Regarding the ongoing cyber-crime case against actor Kim Soo-hyun,
he simply stated:

> “We will not respond to every claim one by one — the truth will be decided in court.”

For more than a month, I, as the legal representative of actor Kim Soo-hyun, have repeatedly and publicly requested that Mr. Kim clarify two critical criminal issues.
As expected, he once again refused to answer.

1. The reason why the 3,000 photos he promised to disclose after the Korean presidential election (June 3) have still not been released.

2. The basis and reasoning for concluding that actor Kim Soo-hyun was the sender of the following two KakaoTalk messages, which Mr. Kim claimed as “key evidence”:
 – June 2016 message: “When can I fall asleep in your arms?”
 – April 2018 message: “If you’re not going to try harder, I’ll end this.”

However, shockingly, during the very same broadcast, Kim Se-ui made the following threatening remarks:

> “Gangnam Police detectives, just try arresting me, you f***ing bastards.
If you arrest me, I’ll file criminal charges against you.
Gangnam Police know exactly how vicious I am.”
(From GSR broadcast titled “Shocking Exclusive: Perjury Coaching — Lee Jae-myung & Kim Hyun-ji Heading to Prison,” aired November 2 at 35:24 – 35:55)

This statement clearly reveals an intention to intimidate or obstruct legitimate law-enforcement activities in an ongoing criminal investigation concerning himself.
It is an extraordinary and alarming incident, far beyond what could be considered a typical suspect’s remark.

Moreover, it came just days after the October 30 National Assembly hearing,
where the delayed investigation into Mr. Kim’s criminal cases and alleged political protection were formally raised by lawmakers.
This timing strongly suggests that his threats were a direct retaliation against the National Assembly’s criticism.

Through a public broadcast, Kim Se-ui explicitly targeted the Gangnam Police investigative team and officers—without naming them but clearly referring to those currently investigating him—
and directed obscene insults and threats at them.
His behavior raises multiple potential criminal liabilities, including:

Obstruction of Justice (Article 136, Korean Criminal Act)
— Using threats to interfere with lawful law-enforcement actions such as arrest or investigation.

Criminal Intimidation (Article 283)
— Directly threatening public officials performing their duties.

Defamation and Public Insult (Article 311)
— Publicly insulting and degrading police officers on a broadcast platform.

In particular, given that the specific Gangnam Police investigation teams (1st Division Team 8, 2nd Division Teams 9 and 13, etc.) and their individual officers are identifiable,
his remark—“you f***ing bastards”—constitutes a public insult and a clear threat intended to intimidate law-enforcement officers from performing their duties.

It is also worth noting that back on June 11, when media raised concerns over the delayed progress of the Kim Soo-hyun case,
Kim Se-ui publicly claimed that he “had not been summoned even once by Gangnam Police for three months,”
and even mentioned the name of a supervising officer, thereby undermining the integrity and neutrality of the investigative process.
That incident had already triggered significant public concern regarding the fairness of the investigation.

Kim Se-ui is a criminal suspect who has repeatedly staged press conferences based on fabricated evidence and false statements,
thereby committing severe reputational and psychological harm to one of Korea’s most prominent actors
and to countless citizens and international fans.

For such a person to now publicly shout,

> “Just try arresting me, you f***ing bastards,”
toward the police immediately after a parliamentary inquiry,
is not a mere emotional outburst.
It is a direct challenge and threat to the judicial process and the authority of the state itself.

If investigative authorities fail to act decisively in response to this incident,
the public will inevitably perceive the collapse and humiliation of law enforcement,
and the already-raised suspicion of political protection will only deepen.

This matter demands an immediate, firm, and lawful response.
To restore public confidence and uphold the dignity of lawful authority,
swift and resolute action by investigative authorities is essential at this very moment.

I have already done this and have sent all the screenshots, along with sufficient evidence of the vulgar accusations…
Some want to look like real heroes in the virtual world because, in real life, they can’t even stop to look in the mirror. No matter how chameleon-like they try to be, who they truly are is revealed through the words they write. Unfortunately, no matter how many accounts they create or how hard they try to prove something, they only end up showing that recycling the packaging never changes the content.

I have reason to believe that there exists a well-founded suspicion of corruption within the police structure, which has prompted the higher authorities to initiate an ex officio complaint. Such an action is likely to have a significant impact on all pending matters involving complaints against Kim Se-ui, including those arising from the complaints submitted by Kim Soo-hyun.

I am so happy for KSH- honestly he has really suffered this year but the truth has prevailed. I wish I could say…
Upon reviewing the YouTube recording containing excerpts from the speech of the “God of Business” before the National Assembly, together with the journalist’s accompanying remarks, it becomes clear that the statements reveal and denounce the unlawful actions committed by Kim Se-ui. Furthermore, this s I think is an increasing tendency to frame his conduct within the sphere of criminal investigation, as his actions during the period of the martial law decree appear to constitute instigation to dictatorial violence.

The transfer of the Kim Se-ui case to the Special Investigation Task Force is not just a procedural move; it is…
It is indeed not the standard procedure. The transfer of the case to a specialized team may have resulted from a self-referral (ex officio action) by higher bodies within the police. Such a measure does not necessarily aim to finalize the investigations in the existing case file, but rather arises from the existence of a reasonable suspicion of corruption within the police structure. Depending on the outcome of the preliminary assessment, the case may either be retained for investigation by the competent specialized unit or returned to the team that had been conducting the initial investigation.

Lately, several official statements have been issued by Kim Soo Hyun, and certain pieces of evidence have been made public — only those disclosed with permission, as there is a substantial amount of additional evidence contained in the case file.
Let’s have a short overview of the case
1. The deceased’s message about a supposed relationship with KSH contains clear errors. It wasn’t sent to accuse him but to talk to a friend. These mistakes show the message was false from the start.
2. The KakaoTalk conversation shows that the man she was talking to never mentioned filming, while KSH was shooting Real at that time. If it were KSH, he would have said something like “I hope to finish filming soon to meet you,” not “I will wait for you” — indicating the messages are fake.
https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxWUJAGdYdJLCI043jit_QHhXuNl6n70TW
3. The photo of KSH attached to the messages was proven to have been taken in 2020, confirmed by the person who took it. His statement has now been officially recorded by the police.
https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxfswJrfD2ubr4QcN5hAA3lJuU2NrN1_11
4. Between 2016 and 2018, there is no evidence of further messages, photos, or any contact between them.
5. During his military service, there is only one letter — and it contains no reference to any romantic relationship. If they had been together since 2016, there would likely be at least a brief mention or reminder.
6. The alleged messages dated April 2, 2018, could not have been sent by KSH because he was in active military service, where phone use was not allowed. The proposed meeting dates also don’t match his military schedule, as he was on duty with his Division. Media reports from that period confirm this.
https://ichannela.com/news/detail/000000088403.do
https://www.news2day.co.kr/101779?site_preference=normal
7. The deceased’s messages during that period clearly refer to another man. She wrote that she was disappointed she couldn’t reach him when she needed him — but KSH was in military service, without access to a phone, and couldn’t answer her.
https://www.koreaherald.com/article/1916696#:~:text=The%20ministry%20started%20a%20pilot,the%20policy%20for%20all%20soldiers.
So, it doesn't make sense to have sent him such messages. This proves she was speaking with someone else, and she was in a different relationship that was falling apart.
8. Her ex-boyfriend later stated that she had suffered domestic violence from her husband in the U.S., sharing also photos of her self injuries. This supports the view that she was deeply traumatized and saw suicide as her only escape.
https://m.tf.co.kr/read/entertain/2190507.htm?retRef=Y&source=https%3A%2F%2Ft.co%2F&retRef=Y&source=https%3A%2F%2Fl.threads.com%2F
Conclusion: Considering that Valentine’s Day had just passed (February 14) and she was alone after a failed marriage, it seems likely that she saw suicide as the only way out once again. Her family environment only deepened her despair.
By making public (false) recordings in which the deceased appears to be speaking extremely vulgarly, the family confirms that they were never interested in the deceased's condition and image.
I hope the police will complete their investigation and issue a verdict soon.

FROMBIO'S FRIVOLOUS CLAIM: BLAMING KIM SOO-HYUN FOR A CONTROVERSY HE DIDN'T CREATEDearest Gentle Readers,It seems…
It seems that the court did not agree with FromBio. Importantly, the court remained steadfast and wants to know the outcome of the criminal case opened against Garosero and the family of the deceased.
“The court took a cautious approach to the plaintiff's claim of a causal relationship between the rental contract and Kim Sae-ron's death, stating, "It is difficult to directly link the rental fee issue to the extreme choice." Furthermore, the court stated, "It is difficult to make a judgment in a situation where the exact breach of contract has not been identified," and announced its intention to monitor the progress of the criminal case.
This civil suit, predicated on a criminal case that has yet to be concluded, is a trial where both Kim Soo-hyun and the advertiser are involved. The advertiser claims breach of contract due to the social controversy, but the facts surrounding that controversy are being addressed in the criminal case. Conversely, if Kim Soo-hyun's side wants to prove damages caused by false allegations, the truth must be established through a criminal investigation.”

Why did they go so far as to fabricate "evidence" and invent something that never even happened? They claimed…
Motivated by greed and the conviction that they will face no punishment.
Let’s take a look at what happened today.
On the 30th (today), “The God of Business” Eun Hyeon-jang attended the National Assembly audit as a witness in the Cyber Wrecker case and raised an urgent question.
He noted that he himself had been investigated within just two to three months in ten complaints filed against him, yet the Gangnam Police have failed to investigate Kim Se-ui, even though a complaint against him was filed over a year ago. How is that possible?
In fact, there are more than 20 complaints against Kim Se-ui, including Kim Soo-hyun’s, but the Gangnam Police are not conducting investigations according to the law. Kim Se-ui has even arrogantly claimed that no one can punish him — not even the President could send him to jail.
How is it possible that a person involved in so many alleged criminal acts is still broadcasting publicly? That was the powerful question raised during the National Assembly audit.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YKsZnTOOUw
- Kim Se-ui in a video during the martial law declaration on December 3 : "You think martial law is a joke right now, but South Korea is in a state of war. I'm speechless. (Reading the article title) 'About 150 members of the National Assembly, gather and climb over the wall', does this make any sense to you? I hope the martial law army immediately gathers at the National Assembly and arrests all those scum and criminals who violated martial law."

- Lee : "This is the exact equivalent of inciting sedition. I get the feeling that these parts are not being properly investigated by the special prosecutors or other such organizations."
(Omitted)
- Eun : "I think that if the police station investigates quickly, there won't be any other victims."

A new post from Kim Soo Hyun's attorney that includes some questions that need to be answered.
[2025/10/11] Final Official Statement from Actor Kim Soo-hyun’s Legal Representative
The bereaved family and GaSeYeon (Gaseyeon) have fabricated claims portraying actor Kim Soo-hyun as a middle school child sexual abuser and grooming criminal.
Who was the man in 2016 who demanded sexual relations from the deceased when they were still a child, and knowing this, why did they commit such acts?
We must ask, and we must obtain their answers.
If they refuse to answer, we must compel them to do so.
This is the reason the state exists.
1. Where exactly are the thousands of photos?
2. Knowing who the man was in 2016 who demanded sexual relations from the deceased child, why on earth did they commit such acts?
The real issue is how to investigate and punish the crimes of those who, through evidence manipulation and public incitement, attempted to brand actor Kim Soo-hyun as a "middle school child sexual abuser."
This has been the journey our legal team began with painstaking effort, aiming to explain this to the media, the public, and investigative authorities.
The perpetrators portrayed actor Kim Soo-hyun as a middle school child sexual abuser and grooming criminal.
However, Kim Soo-hyun did not have any sexual relationship with the deceased while they were a minor, not even a single day, before becoming an adult college student.
We have explained and provided proof beyond what was necessary. An ordinary person would not have had to provide such explanations, let alone disclose private records.
Now, the focus must return to the essence of the matter.
• Who exactly did the deceased exchange KakaoTalk messages with on June 25–26, 2016?
The bereaved family and GaSeYeon’s Kim Se-ui should answer.
Even though they knew it was not actor Kim Soo-hyun, why did they falsify the KakaoTalk messages—including the profile photo and name—to make it appear as if they were his, and label him as a mobile sexual abuser?
We must ask and obtain their answers.
If they refuse to answer, we must compel them to do so.
This is the reason the state exists.
1. Where exactly are the thousands of photos?
2. Knowing who the man was in 2016 who demanded sexual relations from the deceased child, why on earth did they commit such acts?
My position on this matter is clear.
The story about the thousands of photos and videos that Gaseyeon claimed they would release did not come out of nowhere.
Among the materials they reviewed overnight last March, these thousands of photos were probably included.
And in their group chat, while conspiring to ruin someone, there was likely mention of thousands of photos.
However, not a single photo of actor Kim Soo-hyun existed, which is why they have not released them.
The bereaved family and Gaseyon surely know who the actual sender of the falsified 2016 KakaoTalk messages was, despite making it appear as if Kim Soo-hyun sent them.
We must continue to ask.
If, in a matter with not even 1% of truth, we fail to hold them accountable, it will be recorded as a disgrace in the history of South Korea’s judiciary.
In a world where rapidly advancing AI technology makes anyone a potential cybercrime victim at any time, leaving this unchecked would mean the state has effectively allowed it to happen.
Anyone could become a victim.
It is time to step forward and raise your voices.

You started by whining that I was too slow to respond, then immediately switched to complaining that I wrote too much. To your disappointment, I will be following Kim Soo-hyun’s case closely and posting relevant aspects of the case, along with adjacent cases, on the page.
You claim legal expertise, yet the moment your statements are challenged, you hide behind “it’s just my opinion,” without the faintest clue where opinion ends and defamation begins.
You keep parading imaginary qualifications while displaying the exact opposite. If you actually had the background you claim, I wouldn’t have to watch you trip over basic legal concepts while trying to sound authoritative.
I don’t need to advertise my credentials, you’ve already done all the work of showing the difference between someone who understands the law and someone who just name-drops amendments to feel important.
What a person knows is visible in how they argue, and you’ve proven your level with every message. Anyway, since you’re counting minutes instead of making points, I’ll leave you to the only metric you seem comfortable with.

Hey champ, of course everyone’s entitled to an opinion, but an opinion stops being an opinion the moment it crosses into defamation. Let me make it simple with a practical example:
Anyone has the right to build a house. Correct.
Anyone who has the right to build a house can go ahead and build one. Also correct.
But can someone with the right to build a house put it on their neighbor’s land? Still correct? Wrong.
Try running that little algorithm through your “critical thinking,” dear niece.

Your post repeats a string of factual assertions about Kim Soo Hyun that are unproven and presented as fact. That…
Apologies if my 48-hour delay upset you; some of us have actual responsibilities and aren’t on call for online debates. Weekend luck, I suppose.
Since you insist on announcing your law degree, it’s curious that you don’t grasp the difference between constitutional law, international law, and how they interact. Let’s also note that the basics of jurisdiction in online disputes seem to have escaped you, along with the principle that evidence from an ongoing investigation is not something you can simply demand be made public. So, when you say you “passed the bar,” I can’t help wondering if you meant the exam or your local… bar.
Since you invoked the U.S. Constitution: a citizen’s national rights don’t override the rights of citizens of other states, much less international human rights norms. When domestic constitutional law clashes with international law or requires extraterritorial application, international treaties step in, and guess what? They take precedence.
One more tip: in online defamation, jurisdiction belongs to the country of the defamed party, provided the platform is accessible there.
So yes, it’s better to go live your own life rather than try to create the impression of being someone you’re not. But perhaps avoid misleading other users with misplaced confidence and sweeping statements far beyond your depth.
Friendly suggestion: spend some of that legal brilliance at a library, even a digital one. It might help your next argument land closer to the law than the lounge.
