Sorry if it wasn't clear, but I was joking about the fact that Ai is constantly taking care of Nhai like he's a child. Also a bit of commentary on Nhai's self-centeredness.
I think Mangkorn and Yai are perfect for each other - they're both incredibly toxic in they own special ways, and if they're toxic together, that keeps them from being toxic in other relationships! Also, it will never not be funny that Yai grabbed the mic from the singer while he was still performing and then gave a whole speech about how he's becoming a better, less self-centered person 😂
easily, the strongest episode of the series thus far. my only only only complaint is that bisexuality isn't an…
I'm bisexual and constantly saddened that it's not even considered an option by so many people. Then however, I remember that this show is supposed to take place in Thailand around 2010 (I believe) and not 2022. I'm not really sure if it would be true to the times to have cake bring up bisexuality.
The internet, talking to people who we have never met. Sometimes I wish we could all voice our opinions without…
Agreed - there are definitely a couple of people in this comment section who seem to feel the need to aggressively and sometimes rudely question everyone's opinions on the show. I think it says something about how much of a nerve the show has hit. Whether someone likes the message or not, the fact that it has people thinking is a good thing in my book!
I usually don't write reviews or many comments, but I'm wondering if I'm the only one thinking this - whoever was in charge of sound effects and the random music sabotaged the whole show. The acting wasn't bad, the plot wasn't terrible, and the sound track was okay. The sound effects truly ruined every good scene. I'm pretty good at ignoring silly sound effects and music choices, but this was so hard to get past.
Also, is anyone else tired of physically and emotionally abusive parents/grandparents getting to apologize just once and they're suddenly forgiven? Dee deserved more than his grandfather saying sorry for trying to control his life. The man hit him twice (that we saw), got incredibly physically aggressive, and said a ton of homophobic things. It kinda felt like the writers just shrugged and expected us to be okay with it.
Mol is truly the epitome of a narcissistic parent. Every little thing is about her, and she's always emotionally manipulating Wang and In to give into what she wants. I really hope we get an ending where In figures that out and makes a decision for himself.
Tiny rant here Tbh I wish we got more shows like this Actual Queer shows......I'm tired of "BLs" always being…
I definitely agree that the BL content in recent years has been more fluffy and sweet, but I think that's in response to the majority of LGBT+ content from decades before. For years, gay and lesbian romances in books, TV, and movies have been depressing and dark, usually ending with at least one character in a heterosexual marriage, one of the characters dying, or if we're lucky, the two characters getting to have a sad, secret romance in the shadows. This show is fantastic, and I love it so far - however, it's definitely more in line with LGBT media of the past. Hopefully we get a happy-ish ending with this, and the BL industry finds a nice middle ground between sappy and depressing!
Hi! I'm currently on episode 3 and not sure if the drama is for me. I love romance and I'm not sure if this one…
I don't want to give too many spoilers, but there's a good amount of romance in the show, well before the end. I'd say it's a good balance of plot and romance!
I'm having a really hard time caring about Nine or Daonuea since the whole rest of the series was spent showing just how messy and selfish they are. I really wish Daonuea would stop pushing the whole brothers thing with Tee - it's incredibly selfish to lead somebody on like that and then expect them to just bounce back. At this point the only thing I care about in this whole show is whether or not Ice and Tee end up together 🙄
