Title Triage
I really didn't expect to like this drama this much, I'm easily bored and distracted but this had me in a chokehold.…
Damn! I’m torn every time I read Triage is better than MoD. Coz it’s MaxTul! But Triage IS more involving than MoD. .
See? Can’t bring myself to say Triage is better. Lovely to see TaeTee together. We’re all wishing for another series soon.
.

Doesnt matter which script and production is better (Triage hands down). MoD is MAXTUL.🤣😍

Just watched a clip of Tae/Tee explaining that there were several endings for the drama and one of them was Tol…
Ack! The horror.
I wonder what is the real ending in the novel. Triage is still based on a novel.

I feel like the lack of promotion of this will make this a forgotten gem in the BL world within the next couple…
Internationally. But it did well in Thailand and I read they concentrated their promotions for local viewers. Ratings did very well in their country. So that’s good, right?

I don't think anything really made sense about the last loop.
Yup! That’s where our interpretation differed. 😃
It took him almost 30loops before he felt the loss of Tol as a young man and person. That’s cold for me. Maybe the author didn’t intend for this to reflect Tin’s psyche at that time, but that struck me a lot.

Tin did not help Sak and Doi. He was in fact suspicious and mentioned this to Sing and Gap. He is apathetic at most because of what happened to his sister. .. I don’t think you read how I saw the original Tin. He was not bad but not entirely a Good Samaritan either. I have different starting point with Tin.

What’s wrong with someone’s POV,/character/outlook changing to expose something? These are all semantics. We evolve, we grow, we’re not static. Besides, Tin is not the only one who changed here, Tol did too.

I was thinking about Tin's hypothesis that kissing brings back memories from other loops and I'm starting to believe…
You’re right, surely other circumstances bring out the memories but the kisses help too. Tin was kissed with a masked Tol and you can see he was about to kiss Tol when he brought him out of the e.r. So he remembered. His fears further solidified it.

Again my POV.
When Tin turned over Rit to Sak, I think it was a mistake (or probably Doi asked for Rit) and not because he intended for him to have Rit’s organs harvested . This was discussed in the cafe. Sing told Rit and Tol that Dr. Tin raised his suspicions to Sing and Gap re the turnover of Rit to Sak. That’s the reason Sing and Gap talked to Rit. Dr. Fang had her suspicions too with Doi (shown in previous loop and not the cause of Tin’s loops). Hence why the red flag is raised and why they talked to Rit.

Their problem was Tin didn’t want to get involved as a witness. Tin was jaded in his pov with justice.. plus he wanted to just finish his residency and go home to serve in his province.

Tin’s stoic reaction doesn’t mean he’s evil (I perceived him as guarded when it comes to Sak and Doi). At this stage he is not an active contributor ... Tol’s stalking, his colleagues pestering him to testify, his dreams, must have made him put up his wall further.
Clue on Tin’s personality > It took him approximately 25 loops (ep1) before he decided to do something further and get to know his patient Tol. When he saw Tol as a person, that’s the only time he felt bad and cried for Tol ‘s death. That somehow shows Tin’s lack of empathy and deep seated anger..

Jinta most likely saw that both Tin and Tol’s can be changed and help correct too the injustice of illegal organ trade. Which I think is the main reason Jinta started the loops.

This is long. Probably not correct and the author has her own game plan. But Triage is thought provoking and really, the viewers’ POV also affects the outcome of the story.

Tin in the first episode may not be hardcore cold and apathetic with injustice, but he was angry at the drunken bastard kid > Tol. That is how he felt towards the man. It was also shown that he’s affected by his sister’s death and his supervisors are aware of it. That’s probably why Dr. Sak called him out on this when he was berating Tin.

My opinion. It’s really up to interpretation of the viewer. Just as tiresome and static is one’s view.
Tol’s POV had to change first coz the events are connected to him > death of the old man, reasons for suicide attempt of Rit , Mai’s problems with her Mom, his heart attack. In a way when Tin died the conditions of Jinta were met: Tol is alive, people were saved, Tin was a changed man before he died, alarms were raised in regards to the organ trade, and it’s set-up for MoD 2. Hence Jinta didn’t appear to Tol for some time.
(But where’s the BL in that?)
But Tol was insistent. So Jinta appeared. Before he showed Tin again, he insisted that Tol fix his mistakes. This started the last loop and another butterfly effect. My theory too, all those loops did not leave everyone untouched. I think that’s why Sing and Gap became closer and closer, which eventually lead to them being boyfriends. The kiss shows that the loops are imbedded in the psyche of Tin and Tol. Someone from Tin’s colleagues said too that it felt like things were repeated (forgot the episode number)…
And since Jinta allowed another loop, Tin’s POV had to change to expose further the illegal organ trade with the help of the suspicions of his friends. Since Jinta used Tin, he probably didn’t want Tin left untouched and eventually be another Doi.

@yvn,if Kamol was actually homophobic, then why not go after Cherry instead of Kim?
They should stop using those chains and handcuffs.

So I just finished reading the novel. I really don't see the point of adding cherry. It doesn't make any sense.…
But the way the tigers were shot were awkward. They obviously shot in a zoo where there is a 2nd round bar so people will stay outside of the bar. They should have avoided showing that 2nd bar. Kim looked stupid and hardheaded that he was walking in between those two rails. Of course the tigers can reach you when you’re inside that circle….
Details. Details. Details..
Not the actor’s fault. Again it’s the director and production staff.

It shows, right? Poor guys. They didn’t know what they have to do and this is not just the usual love scene, it’s bdsm.
Yeah, by ep.5 they are kissing deeper but the bdsm is still awkward. But it’s the direction that is at fault.

True. And we have to pay attention. I have to stop and reverse so I can read the translations. Then sometimes multiple reverse coz I also want to see the faces. Ack! Still I miss a lot and read the observations of others.
So I look for some new viewers who are like me who missed some details. 😆

Sing and Gap mentioned it quite fast when they were talking to Rit and Tol in the cafe. That they have suspicions on Dr. Sak and Doi.
- Tin actually was the one who brought up the irregularity re a patient but didn’t want to help clear things up.
- Aside from that they discussed Dr. Fang (girl who died in a loop) mentioning about a poor man in the e.r who was making a scene because of losing something . Sorry, I can’t remember exact lines unless I have to rewatch which I don’t want to do. She also had her own suspicions due to irregularities done by Doi. Her suspicions were not because of Tin but because of her observations.
- And this is a hypothesis, they are also affected by the loops but unaware . In one of the loops, it was either Gap, Tin or Toi who said that he felt that something similar happened. So going through this loop the others have their suspicions raised by then?
Why are Sing and Gap boyfriends in the final loop? After all those loops that they went through and the drama of losing Tin, I’m guessing that affected those two unconsciously and got together in the final loop.

Of course these are all MY guesses, there’s probably no exact answer. That’s the fun of the butterfly effect, the author can play with the changes and the viewers too can come up with their own imagination. Triage does not necessarily lay out the events to the viewers. It’s a different kind of series for me .Believe me, previous comments and views were diverse.

He was beaten down by all the loops he went through in episode 1 that he decided to put more effort in solving Tol’s death. Tin only got affected by Tol’s death only in ep.2, those were more or less 26 loops. That is cold shit for a person. No sense of loss for a young man like Tol.

So Tin went through a major character change going through all those loops he coz he found out that people are multi dimensional, that they can change. Through the process he learned about the illegal organ trafficking too and because he went through the loops he too wanted justice.

With Tol going back and fixing his mistakes, the cold apathetic episode 1 Tin is back and (due to butterfly effect) may have even be more jaded compared to his original version… Jinta told him that if he chooses well Tin and Tol can live happily if Tin falls in love again… in his loop, Tol was told correct his past mistakes (ep.12). Then he realized he also has to correct with the illegal organ trade to help change Tin become a better person. Also, he was able to kiss his Tin and Tin in turn remembers everything he went through with Tol.
Basically that’s what happened to ep.12 and 13 or what Tol had to do to get back his Tin.
