Kamol as the character is not homophobic. I think yvn meant Yoon the actor who is acting as Kamol. I don’t think Yoon is homophobic, he also had other BL series. It’s unfair to label a person when he is just not at ease with what’s being asked of him. A kiss is too personal… I ’ll put the mistake in the production preparation. I’m not sure if the main leads did a workshop. Max and Tul talked about how much their workshop helped so much in their acting and towards each other.

We both agree that the bdsm is not researched well…. With Kim though, he may be a novice but he’s supposed to have a high tolerance in pain. In fact it’s supposed to have heightened his libido. Ep1 or 2(?), he searched in the net te pain and sex. Also, Kamol got interested in Kim because he can cope with his sexual plays. This probably did not reflect in the series, but Kamol’s paid professional bed mates give up on him but not Kim. Anyway this bdsm activity which led to these two become a couple just looked amateurish and silly (for a nicer term).

Kim was not given a choice by Kamol. However sweet and protective Kamol is, Kim was forced to go with him. Kim even ran to hide in his exboyfriend/friend place but they turned him over to Kamol. So Kim was dispirited and gave up. Kim always has a bodyguard surrounding him. … Don’t know if this showed in the series. I know this because of the novel.
In fairness I think the chemistry between Kamol and Kim has improved. The intimate scene ‘s kiss is not a k-pop version anymore and the wooing of Kamol is sweet.
BUT the bed scene is still laughable coz they are trying to pass this off as BDSM. Come on! Even I know what it is, don’t tell me that the director and the producers are ignorant with this sex kink. At this point it’s not the actors fault anymore. Poor Kim, his face has this grimace to show pain but you’ll wonder why.
And that cliche of a character Cherry? Thai women should be insulted. Are men lacking in that part of the world that they will fight for someone who will never get sexually attracted to them? How stupid and desperate are women in Thailand?! The novel did not have the Cherry character, why did the production placed her there?

FYI, Paint with Love is also under TV Thunder. This is good news, most probably TaeTee are under their radar. Read that the producers really intend for Triage to be marketed in Thailand. It did very well locally so they would most likely give this two another series. 🤞
