I saw one in YouTube, but I won’t call that a ship. It’s actually sad, it’s about the tragic life of Tawan and Vegas’ betrayal. How Tawan put everything on the table for his true love (not Kinn) and how he was used as a pawn in the mafia ruthless games. The theme song said it all.
Kudos to the scriptwriters. Love the way they handled the melodramatic parts of the novel. I am a fan of how the writers handled the Tawan problem.. From York’s fantastic advice on Porsche’s jealousy and keep his man’s interest, to how Kinn and Porsche’s aired their grievances, give allowances, then kissed and made up. Made sense and problem not drawn out. We should take notes on this tips of handling a relationship.

I don’t think it’s a regular practice in the mafia group. I doubt if even the minor family let their bodyguards wear them too. Tawan is a special case, he’s supposed to be a boyfriend. Also to make him feel confident/comfortable in a dangerous assignment.
Kinn: I think I’ve forgotten something…. You bet your ass! Pete! Brave brave Pete. I though Pete was the. sweet, innocent bodyguard. He just proved in this episode why he’s one of the head bodyguard and why Kinn trust him a lot. Facing torture with that smile. Probably why Vegas found him interesting and will keep him instead of killing him straight away. I’m so proud of the man!

Not exactly their age but closer. Jeff is 27, but take away 2 years or 3. He has graduated, successful singer, and serving as a mentor to juniors like Porchay (that’s how I see him). Kinn and his older brother Tankhun at late 20s and 30. Unlike the one in the novel where Kinn is still in college level. (How can that be when he had a deep relationship with Tawan years ago?) Porsche is probably 24-25 , he is overstaying in college coz he can’t finish due to his work and lack of funds. Vegas, eldest in the second family, 24-27? The bodyguards probably from mid 20s to past 30s. They have to go through training and excellence in skill to be a bodyguard. Specially those guarding Kinn and Korn…Just guessing here.
It is weird but right now KP couple is my less favourite one. Kinn is so unlikable, that ugh. And for me contrast…
Their world is supposedly that of the mafia’s. Kinn does not have the time and probably the psyche for candlelight dinner and roses. The fact that they had a date was a big step for Kinn, who has trained himself not to trust or give himself fully to anyone after Tawan. Porsche has given back to Kinn a big part of his former self……and no chemistry? My monitor is overheating everytime it’s just the two of them. That’s an overload of chemicals mixing in my part of the screen. :D

I don’t think the series is following the novel when it comes to the ages. Kinn in the series is ridiculously still in college. I agree with Sanie, I think the characters in this series is closer to the actors’ ages.
Finally I’m reading the novel. I know halfway airing they stopped the series abruptly. My question is actually…
First book was about 200+ chapters but they are short. The movie stopped at passed midpoint of the novel…. I like the Book 2 more actually. It’s eight years after high school and both have their professions and successful.
Warning, some do not like a certain part of book 1 and can’t continue. Just remember the title, Addicted/Heroin. It’s unreasonable, an attachement that is excessive , a dependence that can hurt or even destroy. Sleep this in mind to enjoy the novel. Take everything with a grain of salt.
A number of fans have translated books 1&2 already. Wattpad has more than 1 person translating this. PrinceofMidnight in my opinion had better translation. Translators are not native English speakers so you have to compare first chapter translation before reading ahead. Enjoy!
I read Addicted/Heroin, first mature BL novel of the same author as Advance Bravely, I realized I like that even more. So I hope these two novels : Advance Bravely and Addicted (1&2) are picked up by brave productions to produce this two sexy novels. ;D
