I couldn't take the last scene without laughing out loud as the "dead" doctor was still very much visibly breathing…
I watched the end of ep.13 coz I can’t believe the shooting staff made such a sloppy error…. I don’t know if the actor was breathing or if the digital video gets a bit distorted every time the blue gown becomes its background. The shift in bg is quite big, from blackish to light blue of the gown (dr. Bun’s). This shift in color bg tends to affect the sharpness so it looks like he’s breathing. But this is actually the digital lens adjusting. Check out the chest with its consistent bg color/lighting, the actor’s chest doesn’t move. Usually the chest moves too when you breathe… in fairness to the director and staff/crew, they even placed bottles in the foreground to make sure slight movements don’t get noticed. They also immediately cut to Dr. Bun to avoid holdingthe actor’s breath for a long time.
I noticed something while rewatching triage yesterday, EP 1 and 2It's abt Tin's Journal..So hear me out, Tin always…
What I remember, the farther back he goes from the date of death of Tin in the loop, he forgets more. That’s why he started the diary because he learned he can’t save Tol if he just starts on the day of the accidents.
Do I hate it? No. Do I think it's bad? Yes. And that doesn't entirely have to do with the lack of spark between…
Hate? No. But I don’t like it and I don’t anticipate for the new episodes. I just like comparing the novel to what’s going to come out in the series.,but I don’t watch the whole episodes. I watch when Kim is out. 😆
I hate to break it to you but DO READ my long comment + XUNXANXOXO’s comment above re the lack of workshop. I don’t think you did. This is NOT about KP anymore (coz I’m not a KP diehard) but it’s the way UN was made that we have a problem with.
If you will read majority of the comments and reviews, I realized that after the initial comparison with KP, the main problem of this series is because of the lousy production. There was no problem with the plot (which is what can be compared to KP). In fact, those who stayed is because of the story - which originally is a popular mafia novel. The production is soooo bad it resulted to a low rating and majority ridiculing the series. I feel for the poor author, she deserves her novel to be treated better.
Kim grew on me. He’s so sweet. But I’m hoping for him to have more spunk. At least in the novel he came across (to me) as an independent strong willed man. He has his own company. He also spoke his mind out.
I hope not. That will be hard to control (I think).. The mere scene where Kim was looking for of those two tigers in their cages was awkward. It was so obvious they were in a zoo. Then they asked Kim to walk inside the circular bar which is an obvious sign that is additional protection from the tigers.
YES! That’s why the director and the producers are frustrating, they didn’t do their job well. I would probably have been okay with Yoon as Kamol and the addition of Cherry had UN been well produced.
It’s a shame because Unforgotten Night could have been another KinnPorsche and would have been a major success this 2022. I would have been eagerly awaiting every episode every week had this been produced well.
Perfect is too much. No such thing as that. I don’t need perfect, but I at least expected to have… a. the producers give proper preparation for the actors so they have better chemistry. Yoon most specially needed this workshop for his acting . Might as well prepared the other actors too coz this cast act so stiffly. And it can be done. Case in point, KinnPorsche, A Tale of Thousand Stars, Triage, and so many others have great casts. b. The director should have thought out the kind of lovemaking that the leads would be acting out because UN has bdsm sex, in fact that’s how Kamol and Kim started. But even this basic requirement the director didn’t prepare for. c. Hired a better Kamol actor. Yoon is so different from the Kamol in the novel. Had they followed the description Kamol would have been so unique from the usual BL leads. d. Fixed that ridiculous tattoo of Kamol. e. Gotten a better cinematographer to set up the mood. f. Gotten a better soundtrack. Are you seriously liking the 70s piano bg music? g. Taken out Cherry. She’s not even in the novel. ..All these are not part of the story. The novel was fine. Nothing extraordinary but it was entertaining. Nor do I or the viewers need perfect love story. And of course Kamol and Kim would end up together. It’s romance.
There’s so much not to like about UN but it’s not because of the characters Kamol and Kim. The actor playing Kamol is another matter. I am skimming through UN because I read the novel and want to see how it is in the series.

Lol! It’s like one more drop of water and you would have reached that 9th full cup.
