It really depends on you. It's totally fine if you choose to skip the original Encantadia (2005) or even the reboot…
You're welcome.

Here’s the playlist for Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre (2025) so you won’t have a hard time finding it:

As for Encantadia (2016), it’s totally optional to watch. It has 218 episodes, so it might take time. That’s why I only highly recommend it if you have free time or want to explore the full backstory. You can still go ahead with the 2025 version even if you haven’t seen it yet.

Do I need to watch the original Encantadia and its parent story first, or is it okay to skip them and go straight…
It really depends on you. It's totally fine if you choose to skip the original Encantadia (2005) or even the reboot Encantadia (2016) because Encantadia Chronicles Sang’gre (2025) tells a completely different story with many new characters. However, some character from Encantadia 2016 will still appear in Encantadia 2025. Like; Alena (Gabbi Garcia), Pirena (Glaiza de Castro), Danaya (Sanya Lopez) and Cassiopeia (Solenn Heussaff).

If you're interested to dive deeper into the Encantadia story, you can watch out Encantadia 2016 since it is a reboot and retelling of the original Encantadia 2005 and its directly connects to Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre which is the spin-off continuation of Encantadia 2016. But again, it's all up to you.

Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre is already available on YouTube with English subtitles. Just search for the title and the official channel name, and you can find it easily.

This drama helps me bring back the passion I had to watch Philippine drama again. I know it's already been too late, but I cannot able to watch this people since the airing is already too late in the evening. So now, that there's a lot of time, I definitely enjoy watching this show. I just heard yesterday that Josie Asuncion (played by the late Ricky Asuncion) has passed away. My deeply condolence for his family.
