I watched it out of curiosity, although I fast-forwarded at least the last 5 episodes. It was THAT boring and unimaginative. Honestly, apart from Rowoon, there's no reason to watch it. He does an amazing job portraying his character, but I just didn't like him with the FML. And there was unnecessary drama in this story. And stupid decisions, stupid thoughts, slow to act. Like, is the korean language SO imprecise that people don't understand when the other talks? I don't think so. So, PLEASE Mr/Mrs Director/Scriptwriter, stop making the characters act like this. It's annoying and tiring.
I don't know why everyone is complaining about the FMC. "Mudeok" was never a separate person. It was Buyeon without her memories and then Buyeon's body with Naksu's soul. Just like "Buyeon" was never truly a person of her own, in reality she was just the body of a dead child with Jin Seol's soul in it from the moment it was born (because of the use of the ice stone). And then later it was Buyeon's body with Jin Seol's and Naksu's souls in it (only this time it was Naksu without her memories at first). Yes, okay, the face of Buyeon changed since it was Naksu's energy and Naksu's soul that kept it alive, sure Master Lee had to do some mental gymnastics to explain that, but honestly, it worked for me. I liked Naksu's real face a lot more. As for Jang Uk falling for the same person or different people, well, it was the same person but with different behaviors. He met and fell in love with Naksu when she had her memories and her goals and when she was herself with all her heartache and troubles. Then he met "Buyeon", essentially Naksu WITHOUT her memories and her original goals, which YES, it made her act differently, but she wasn't different as a person. Naksu started to change her thoughts before she died, when she started becoming friends with all those guys. So Jang Uk fell in love with the same person TWICE, which is why it was so frustrating that he didn't recognize Naksu. I mean, the amount of times I pulled my hair and shouted "ARE YOU AN IDIOT?!" at the screen while watching S2....
Kim Jae Young (Kang Hae Jin), a new SMLS (second male lead syndrome) for me. His acting was totally great: I could see him vibrating when he was afraid, I could see him in pain when he was being rejected, I could see his gentleness when he looked at the FL with love. And of course, I shipped him and the FL, although something didn't sit well with me in PMY's acting, like she didn't put her heart into it at some points. The actor who played Jiho was okay, but Jiho as a character was like a puppy; nice to cuddle with but not base the whole story on it.
It was fine up until episode....8? or so. Then it went downhill fast. Like, seriously, the FMC was the STUPIDEST, weakest DOORMAT I've seen in a while!!! Supposedly she cared about the MC most, but acted based on what everyone ELSE would think of her! She fucked up again and again and her boyfriend put up with so much! NOPE.
Okay, I might be totally off with this but hear me out (I haven't read the books FYI): Maybe, Kinn pretends not to trust Porsche, in order to see what will happen (what Tawan and the minor family will do). Maybe he didn't tell Porsche about that part of his plan, so Porsche's reaction looks more real. Also, of course I'm shipping KinnPorsche but, there is a part of me that wants Porsche to run away with Vegas (what can I say, I'm a little bit of a hoe for Vegas 😂). Not for real, just pretend he doesn't trust Kinn at all and that the relationship between them is broken, so Vegas will trust him more and let some important detail/secret spill out, which then Porsche can take to Kinn. Eh, TBH I would totally ship Porsche and Vegas for real if it was an option.
