The script was doesn't follow the book 100%, the writer said she wasn't happy with the plot of the book and changed it for the series although the basis is the same and some scenes will be the same and characters.

Just saw the trailer. Okay Fiat is a little cutie but tbh I’m kinda tired of the other guy/girl trying to break…
I think the main point this season is to show Tharn's abandonment and trust issues vs Type's still not fully accepting himself and both working on it to have a better relationship so Fiat is just there to shake things a bit.
