Just finished watching and I loved how they play and tug with our emotions. As rawness envoked by the characters. The subtle expressions by Chen Yi is lit and Yang Zi’s pain is felt. The scenes on these 2 eps and the upcoming ones will solidify the beginning of the mortal arc. Bravo! The casts are really amazing! I have watched other xianxia and the emotions are lacking. No doubt Chen Yi and Yang Xi have gone along way from their Noble Aspirations days. As they are now truly the leads of this masterpiece. 💖💖💖👏🏻

Sorry for posting this, as I know this is both Cheng Yi & Yang zi or YY & YD thread (IS). I know some here are Yang zi’s fans, have you heard recently that LI Qin is the golden eagle actress as rumor said. Though she is also a good actress, I felt bad for Yang Zi because this will be her 3rd year in a row to be nominated. She has a close call last 2018, but Dilreba won.
