Another big F you for North American fans. And no, I am under no obligation to subscribe to a VPN to watch a show. When a company doesn’t give a damn about North American fans, then I’ll return the favor and gladly NOT watch their show. This is hardly the only example of this behavior. And don’t get me started on the exponential proliferation of pay platforms that now are the only place to watch more and more shows. Just a year ago, subscribing to three was enough. Not anymore. Now you need four or five and a fricken VPN as well. There is a global economic downturn and people, especially in the US have less money to spend on entertainment than a year ago. Adding additional subscriptions is not an option. But the BL production companies don’t give a damn about fans outside of Asia. Message received loud and clear.

What are they cutting out, entire plot lines? Episode 3 uncut is 1 hour 18 minutes. The cut version is only 55 minutes long. They’ve cut more than just a few moments of spicy content. How can it even be worth watching when a third of the episode is missing?

Only episode 1 is free. As of May 13, episodes 2-4 are apstill behind the paywall. Those greedy production platforms are self-selecting what series I will be watching. If you stick it behind the paywall of IQIYI, Viki, or Netflix in the US or, alternatively broadcasting it for free on YouTube, I will be watching. If you put it behind a permanent paywall on WeTV, Youku, or GagaOOLala, I will not be watching. It is that simple. Budget determines entertainment choices b

English is my native language and I do know a few other languages, but not well enough to be a translator. Not even close.

Not affordable for me, I’m retired. $50 is what I already pay for Viki, and then I have IQYI and Netflix. I’d have to get rid of something to add weTV, which doesn’t solve anything, just shifts things around.

Jeez, another series behind the paywall of a platform I don’t subscribe to. In this economy, I can’t afford to add another steaming charge to my monthly budget. This is getting frustrating.

Another highly anticipated Thai BL behind yet another paywall. At last count, I have identified 6 different subscription sites running popular BL series. I have missed some popular and highly rated series because I cannot to subscribe to so many platforms. At what point is the viewership going to become so fragmented that the production companies rethink this strategy?

Episode 2 is not available in the US on YouTube. Is it available on any streaming platforms in the US? I subscribe to Viki, IQIYI, and Netflix, but it isn’t on any of those. I need to access a free option because I can’t afford to add yet another subscription to my limited budget.
