Only You is beyond GL. It’s a general audience friendly series with great production and storyline. Furthermore, the lead actresses are really good at portraying their characters with detailed micro acting. The support characters are also developed well and put into the series flawlessly. Till Ep3, it is just building characters slowly and carefully, so there ain’t lots of twist or tempo yet. But since it has 14 episodes, there is still a long journey to go. It’s a good choice for people who like slow burn with lots of yarning. But don’t worry. There’s a lot of fluff too that can make you kick your feet in the air and giggle like a lovesick teenager. And don’t forget to prepare tissue for you too.And for those who love steamy scenes , I don’t think this series will be your cup of tea because I’m quite sure the flow of the series is soft and it emphasizes drama and angst more.
