A hitman type character. Mr Gu was thinking of using him to get Mi Jung's money from her ex.
Yes, thats the word. That's why I said 'type'. I got it from what was inferred when Mr Gu said to Mi Jung (about getting her money back) that he couldn't do it but knows someone that can.
Omo! This is such a great reminder of how eveeyone's opinions differ. Not about the show, I agree it's hilarious…
Hey Toot. I'm one of the lucky ones I guess. Haven't really experienced bad, toxic work environments but I totally get where you're coming from. I've been working from home for the last 2 years and what I miss from the office is experiencing the hum and flow of people but also the open ambition of staff members. It's funny to watch their self promoting antics.
Hi MMT3011, I feel the same way. I was so disappointed . Lee Seol lost her life for nothing and Yae Hee suffered…
Hey Musiq, nice to hear from you.
I have flagged Through the Darkness and will watch when its available on Viki. I didn't finish Itaewon Class and I haven't watched Youth of May yet.
I'm similar to you, depending on the mood I'm in I can watch romance, crime, historical, horror - anything. Because I'm waiting for the Ghost Doctor series to finish, I've started watching a c-drama called the Rebel Princess. Its my first chinese drama and its holding my interest so far. I'm not sure if it will continue to keep me interested as its 68 episodes but we'll see.

Hi Musiq, we are now kindred spirits with our k-drama gripes - lol. Yes, I wanted more character development. I wanted to know more about Madam Seo's son. The twists that played out halfway through the series didn't lead to anything. The sister in law that hated Yae Hee then became her advocate. I got no closure from the storylines.
Anyhoo, I have a few dramas on my plan to watch list so I was going to scroll through those. Do you have any suggestions?
Wow, this went downhill very fast. The last two episodes were disappointing. If only the FL used the shotgun to shoot everybody. At least her jail time would be justified. Ugh. I had high hopes for this drama.
Yes, Madam Seo married because she was pregnant out of wedlock. I'm not sure who the father to her son is though.…
Hey musiq, did you watch episode 16? It helps explains Lee Seol's character. It turns out that she was raped by Joon Hyuk and thats why she wants Jae Hee to divorce him.
Lee Seol knows that the little boy is her son and the new reveal is that Lee Seol's grandmother was a victim of the tragedy that is mentioned 7 years ago. It'll probably be revealed in eps 17.
I think Jae Hee has a lot of insecurities about her son. She's not his biological mother and is at risk of losing him to Lee Seol or Joon Hyuk and the family. Her paranoia was starting to irk me but after the story revealed Lee Seol's motives it was justified.
I also love how Madam Seo is starting to sharpen her claws, Jae Hee has met her match.

Hey @musiq, umm your summary is pretty good. lol. I haven't watched the latest episodes as yet but I picked up the same themes. I don't believe its your confusion, I think its how the show is directed and that is the appeal for me. The plot throws breadcrumbs and you think you have a character figured out and then what you thought is off. I'll write back once I'm up to date with the episodes. :)

Yes, I too was confused at Yae Hee's reaction to Lee Seol but I was wondering if it was jealousy because she heard her husband's confession. I don't know where the writers are taking her character but I hope the later episodes explain the backflip because Yae Hee did admit that she married for power.

Yes, Yae Hee just found out about her son. So what I've gathered is that Yae Hee and Madam Seo know about Yee Seol being the birth mother. I thought the same as you about Yae Hee already knowing about Yee Seol being her son's mother however looking back I don't think she linked everything together because that episode's focus was on Yee Seol's dead friend having a baby to the dodgy prosecutor guy.
Shheeesh, writing this out is even getting me confused - hahaha. Now, I'm hoping that episode 14 reveals a bit more.....
This drama draws me in but I get so lost. Quick question, Madam Seo/the mother she was pregnant out of wedlock…
Yes, Madam Seo married because she was pregnant out of wedlock. I'm not sure who the father to her son is though. I believe its the husband's company but Madam Seo runs it. He looks like he's been in retirement for a while. I gathered that the company is his because he's set on his biological son inheriting it (Joon Hyeuk). Madam Seo has created power by gathering secrets on those who are rich and powerful. I'm not sure what episode you're up to but I'm up to ep 14 and so much has happened. The writer releases background stories on each character per episode, so its likely you'll get your answers the more you watch.
I’m also loving the husband haha ps did you watch ep 13&14? If so did you find subs today I found some just…
Hahaha, my partner said that I'm taking too much interest in the male characters. He's finds it amusing. I just watched ep 13 but not 14. I've been watching on viki. I've learnt to juggle a few programs on the go because of the subbing delays. I'll probably watch ep 14 at the end of the week.
I'm loving this! Hopefully it doesn't disappoint me at the end. FL's husband and ex-bf are sexy asf. Plot twists are keeping me invested. Acting from all actors is top notch.
