I'm really enjoying this series. Thought to try it out and now I'm binging it. It's hilarious, the work issues and characters are very relatable. It does make me miss the office politics and dramas pre covid.
Not a fan of this drama. Storylines dragged out with twists and turns. I felt that the writing sided with the villains more than what the FL and ML were striving for. Ugh, by episode 13, my blood was boiling with the acts of TOP and the villain. I really wanted to punch her. I'm watching to see what happens at the end.
I thought I was the only one who thought her acting is monotoned. It's like I see a flat line every time! I belong…
Hey same here, I'm part of that 1% too. Only got halfway through ep 1 of Descendants of the Son. I took it on after watching Song Joong ki in Vincenzo. I wasn't feeling the vibe of DotS and had the same reaction with the FL in that one as well. 😂
I'm enjoying this series so far. Had no expectations and the kid acting as the nephew plays his part brilliantly. The other actors are on par with their calibre - excellent.
I'm a fan of slice of life dramas and whilst this is an adaptation of a BBC series, the plot themes are universal and the characters are relatable. At the moment its a 9/10 for me. I took a risk taking it on before the series finished, now have to wait for the weekly updates.
Somebody please do something about Myung Seop on this drama!!! How did he go from being incompetent and needing…
Absolutely!! I thought the same thing too about Sun Joo's character. I'm secretly hoping that she starts showing some of her mum's grit. Fingers crossed, she gets a back bone in the later episodes.
Arggghhhh!! I might have to put this one on hold. The drawn out plot and lack of inaction from the FL is frustrating. I know that the brother is up to something but I'm screaming at the FL to do something against her husband. The more the husband asserts his power, the more I want her to stab him between the eyes.
Now we're finally seeing the drama description come into play. It was a slow burn, but now we're here! Myung Seop…
Wohoo! Finally, the series has picked up and the FL is pissed off - yay! I was not expecting the brother to be psycho and I loved it!! Can wait to see how the storyline plays out.
the indignation these residence have about being quarantined or inconvenienced is just so accurate to how a lot…
My thoughts exactly. That's what I got me hooked, the reality of the story it was all too real. Plus the portrayal of how people have reacted to the pandemic lock downs You can't rely on others to do the right thing. There will always be a selfish few that will ruin it for others.
Me: Now I have walked away
Decided to drop it after episode 10. The drawn out story line and monotone acting from FL made me 🥱
