Really surprise with how I usually like the FL with only one ML but with Lost You Forever there’s really no…
Well, in a way, they all got their most wanted ending. CX wanted to be emperor over the entire world and continually sacrificed his romantic love for XY and used her princess status to do it. XL was loyal to his rebel cause and adoptive father to a fault. The rebel cause had gotten to a point where there was nothing to fight for anymore, because CX had united the world in a good way for all citizens. But, the rebels still fought to their certain deaths for some reason that I don't understand.
When XC knows that xiao liu is his cousin?Does XC loves xiao liu?
CX and XY love each other deeply since childhood. CX does develop romantic love for XY at some point. I think it was when she changed from a man to a beautiful woman.
The love between CX and XY. I don't understand how people don't support these two. Whether it's romantically or…
Was romantic love between first cousins okay in those days? Regardless, they obviously loved each other deeply with or without romantic love. The romance part only developed on CX's side. XY never went there. Before they knew who each other were (as adults), XY had already started falling in love with TSJ...
I still don't fully understand XL's reasoning for taking the poisonous love bugs. For the bugs to have any real…
I think XL received the poisonous love bug, because he was already in love with XY by that point. He believed that receiving the bug meant that he was giving his heart to XY and could never get it back. He hoped for eternal and loyal love. Of course, XY didn't know that love had anything to do with the bugs. Also, both XL and XY have unusual bodies. So, not everything may work on them as most people believe. At the same time, XY was already starting to fall in love with TSJ...
As far as CX, I haven't thought about it much. But, the bug may have been willing to enter him, because it somehow knew that he loved her, even though neither of them knew who the other was at the time. Great question!
I've seen a bunch of Chinese dramas. The scene where Xiao Yao thinks the consort is her mom and Cang Xuan is trying…
Eternal Love is my favorite drama. And, I can't even believe how much Lost You Forever makes me cry. The novelist Tong Hua is in another category for me. She's truly amazing to me. Lost You Forever may become my favorite drama when all is said and done!
I’m a person who favors moderns, lighter stuff and more comedy. But, believe it or not, this historical has completed gripped me! I’ve never enjoyed crying so much! The author of the novel, Tong Hua, has a way of storytelling and writing that utterly amazes and grips me, regardless of how much it makes me cry! Lost You Forever may very well replace Eternal Love as my favorite historical. I’m crossing my fingers that it will continue to do justice to the novel and give it everything it deserves. (I wish the same happened with the prequel drama A Life Time Love.)
Initially, I thought it may have been a typo. But, the fines don’t add up either. It’s 5 + 8 = 10 (million…
You're welcome. Even a blind squirrel can find an acorn every now and then, lol. (I'm referring to myself, of course. Learning Chinese has been very intimidating and veeery slooow, as a side hobby.) As for the drama, I came here looking for opinions and spoilers to see if I wanted to watch it. I think I will, even though it's on the more serious side.
Edit: It sounds like I might have to fast forward through LYT, lol.
Concurrent means "existing, happening, or done at the same time". Jikai is sentenced to six years and ten years.…
Initially, I thought it may have been a typo. But, the fines don’t add up either. It’s 5 + 8 = 10 (million RMB)? So, I was curious enough to look into it. I have barely started to learn Chinese. Four of the Chinese characters in a row show up together as one entry in a Chinese dictionary. It’s a noun in law. It means “concurrent punishment for several crimes.”
For these four Chinese characters, Chinese Wikipedia says something along the lines of the following: If a person commits several crimes, the sentence shall be less than the total term and more than the maximum term of the several crimes. So, Zhao Ji Kai got only 1 year taken off of his total sentence.
Sorry, I assumed you were referring to the YouTube channel for China Huace TV, which is only up to episode 15. Where have you been able to watch through episode 23 with subtitles?
