Actress Song Yi looks exquisite in a Cheongsam. She is by far my most favourite actress not only for her beauty but also for her charming voice and acting performance.
i dont think so, She was already popular before establishing Jaywalk Studio in 2013 ... she was chosen as one…
Yes Yang Mi was popular, mainly because of her good looks, before she became a shareholder of Jay Walk Studios but her career and earnings really took off after that. As far as her acting skills are concerned I have been told by acting professionals that her acting skills are mediocre. Of course this is a subjective assessment.
The ending of most modern romance dramas is predictable. The male lead will end up with the female lead. This story would have been more interesting if the male lead eventually married the second female lead and the female lead marrying the second male lead.
Actress Guo Zi Qian acted in only six drama series. In all six the male lead was Hans Zhang with Guo Zi Qian having a support role. Is this pure coincidence or is there a gossip behind it?
Excellent drama. Different than the usual modern romance or costume period drama. Li Xiao Nan is way prettier and smarter than Xu Bi Cheng. So I really fail to understand why Chen Shen is so smitten by Xu Bi Cheng.
In many Chinese drama series you see the male lead chasing the female lead while rudely ignoring the second female lead who also likes him. For example in this drama Ning Weijin is rudely ignoring Shu Yiran. There are many ways to tell a girl that you are not interested in her but treating her rudely is not one of them. At times I can really not understand how screen writers can come up with such a script that treats women like garbage.
Gu Wei Yi left his Senior Xie Yu Yin at the restaurant while the food was being served ( episode 12 ). It's very rude in any culture. There should be an etiquette consultant for every drama movie.
Wang Xiao Chen is an excellent actress. Her acting skills are on par with many of the A-list actresses. It's high time that the Chinese movie industry awards actors on their acting performance rather than their physical attributes and/or social media ranking. Only when that happens then we can say that the Chinese movie industry has matured.
Yang Mi acting skills are not really better than other A-actresses or even some B-actresses and yet she is very highly paid. Must have been lucky to have had good scripts. Perhaps her being a major shareholder in Jay Walk Studios may be the reason for her rapid rise in stardom.
In episode 8 Zheng Hao said that wealth is temporary but familial love is forever. What kind of baloney is this. I don't know what kind of drugs the screenwriters may have taken to come up with such a logic.
Touching story of unselfish pure love. I felt that the love Frank had for Bai Kaoer is much deeper than that of Mochi. Bai Kaoer must be really very cold-hearted not to have had any feelings for Frank. Love must be really blind. Hence I didn't like the ending.
Started to watch this drama. I don't like certain scenes. For example in episode 2 the character Chu Ke Huan is sexually harassing Zhou Wei Wei and detained her w/o her consent. Such behaviour is unacceptable. It sets a bad example for male viewers thinking that such behaviour is somehow acceptable..
