I am inclined to agree with you. But the thing is, I am left unsatisfied without how the ending was handled. It feels like it was priming for more to come. Which I think is why people are so confident there will be a second season. (I am completely unsure) It's not that it is "open" that I don't like, in-fact I appreciate endings that aren't "happy" in a storybook sense with everything tied up in nice little bows. But it felt a little like I was thrown against a brick wall. My emotions we're shaken, but It didn't leave me with anything other than that. In my opinion open endings are best coupled with a story that makes you reflect on things, but I don't feel this. I wish there was a continuation, not for the nice little bows I am so tired of, but for the feeling that this story has a "future" even if they ultimately fail. Uncertainty is valuable, but too much of it feels like swimming in quicksand. If this really is it, then that is fine, it was a solid drama. I enjoyed it. Characters were fun and interesting, action was great.
