it's fasciniting how much meaning one smirk can have! At this point i really dont know where the story will go. I have multiple theories in mind, but all of them seem to be too complicated for just 2 episodes haha.
Otaro's character is so well made. Often cold guys are portrayed as arrogant, mean and quiet with a small heart. But I think otaro's is more complex. He completely erased his feelings and past and put on the host act. He completely set himself on one goal (money) and doesn't think about anything else. But at moments when you see him alone in his room you can see how empty his life is. And only for a few moments you could see his true personality. Like when he saved his mom and hugged saiko in ep 7.
Saiko watching Mikoto tell her sincere feelings for Otaro was sad too. Both girls are really nice, I feel especially bad for Mikoto as everyone is playing her. Even her mom ended up betrayed her. Hasebe seems to be the only one who truly cares for her and I hope they will end up together.
As someone else pointed out Takauji gets more evil every time they turn back. At first he seemed like a nice guy who truly did like Mikoto but was blackmailed, now he's just turning pure evil.
And suda... i feel like we're going to learn more about him in the next ep. I think he is indeed otaro's brother. Especially when you've looked at the ost mv.

Personally i dislike that most of the times the female lead is considered ugly (talking about the character obviously) or unattractive. With some dramas it fits with the story, but a lot of times it's just unnecessary. It really comes across as the cliché of ugly girl, handsome boy. Rather than hate I just find it to get boring.
They revealed so much things in the first episode, it seems pretty straight to the point. I wonder if it will have some sort of mystery with plot twists, or that it will really be just revenge.
