Perfect review. The show could have been so much better. It needed to be longer with more backstories. I’ve never watched a show and not cared if anyone died! And the reunion with the other angels could have been so much more poignant and emotional had we known them, or why or what?? Such a waste😔
I tried…I really did, because Kang HaNeul is such a good actor and so beautiful, but her constant rejection of him was unbelievable and annoying and his persistent simping for her was also unbelievable and annoying. Ultimately I know they must end up together but goodness me…and why are the townsfolk soooo horrible to her?? it’s just bizarre and she lets them… letting her poor kid defend her, or the gorgeous man that she keeps turning down… I tapped out when his mother, her BEST friend, who had said she wishes Dongbaek could meet her son, lost her mind and stopped taking to him because she found out he had feelings for her…just nonsensical. Even for one of my favourite actors I can’t tolerate this nonsense! I might watch the last couple of episodes just to see how it ends up and actually who is on the stretcher wearing her bracelet.
