Not gonna lie, I started watching this drama for Miura Shohei. I went in with zero expectations and with absolute no knowledge about the plot.
The storyline is nothing different– an underconfident girl learns to become confident with the help of a boy. But, the twist is the boy is effeminate.
Miura Shohei absolutely killed this role. And you can tell he had fun while acting. Koyanagi was a fun character. His inner monologues were funny.
This was my first time watching Matsui Rena. She was amazing as Fujiko. Fujiko's character was nicely developed.
The supporting casts were good too. Sawa was probably my favourite.
While the characters were the best part of the drama, the story felt a bit slow. The plot was going no where at one point. But, the show was still enjoyable to me as I can't resist Fujiko-Koyanagi's charm.
