Macknight

I'm on E15: that police who lost his thumb has no business being a detective, I'm surprised he made it out of the police academy, got what he wanted, what a complete waste of air!

I'm on E41, and the ML redeems himself, looks like a happy ending coming up.

I'm on E27, the ML deserve so much more than a slap, a kick to the groin and a punch to the face, maybe a bite to the artery when he forcefully picked her up! I'm rooting for his demise.

I'm watching E9, trying to make sense why the police doesn't shoot, what a failure!

Wow, very good, suspenseful and great story telling, one of the better murder mystery series of 2026.

that's wonderful news, this is a rare series that I binged within a few days; I made a wrong presumption as S1 was in 2024, now it's already 2026.

Really solid series except the last episode, it looks like they're trying for a S2 and failed. I really like the happy accidents, like picking up a lost money bag from the same person nearly 40 times, lol!

I just finished the series, the ending is quite good and realistic. There are some unlikable(bully, timid girl), incompetent(police), awful(parents) people in the series, but they are very characterful to support the series. A very good 1 time watch worth 8.5-9/10.

I just finished E6 and I hate her guts, what a piece of shit she is, worse than the bully.

I can't stand that timid girl, all she does is lies, lies and more lies. I hope she gets punished for with holding information, what a waste of air.

fairly early, I think around E7-8, then at E17-20

just binged it in 2-3 days, totally agree, A++ on everything, from pace, story, acting, dialogue; if there was something to pick on: it would be some of the CGI, slightly more screen time of sea voyage.

the ML is a piece of shit anyways, I had hoped the FL didn't end up with him but the writer sure is trying hard to ship them; together with a schizophrenia psycho must be romantic, lol!

Finished E19 and probably going to drop it; what a disaster, the plot is all over the place, everything is fast forwarded per scheme. The best thing about the series is the music.

he does play the villain role well, as a viewer in my mind I used a 2-handed hammer on his face; I'm watching Destined 2023, and he plays a similar role.

Very confusing plot, the parts I don't like are the fighting scenes, they look very fake, and the speed of recovery from near mortal wounds on the main casts; the parts I like are the romance between the MLs and FLs.

There are some awful miscastings, the FL is supposed to be a slave general, yet she looks way too young due to her real age of 18! The feminine power movement needs to be curbed. It's a decent watch in the background while you're doing something else.

very good so far, almost binged the whole series in a few days, I'm on E33; the part that I didn't like is the total time passed from when the ML was stabbed by his best friend and dad, he was then transported outside the city to be buried, then recovered miraculously and brought to a distant medical facility, the whole time he would of bled out somewhere during the journey or suffocated while buried; then again the FL should of broke some bones or be dead in the fall from the cliff in E1.

the servant is actually a son by a side piece of the Marquis; the legit son had a chat with the Empress Dowager's sister a few episodes back, he's jealous of him as he's able to be out and about doing things unlike himself being caged in the capital.

Fairly good one time watch, an explosive opening, but like most series it dwindles down. I love the theme music, very epic! There are too many montages, but that may be due to budget and episode count at 24 instead of the norm at around 40. I also think the PM Deng Yi is miswritten at a such young age; there are some minor scenes that didn't make sense like when the Grand Princess went into battle wearing her red dress, not practical at all even if she's the general's daughter with some fighting experience. Overall a C+ to B-, solid one time watch.
