started watching this drama, and I already love the badass female lead. Glad they chose an older actress to do the part; not the usual young actress who'll act "deadly badass killer" while being cute, innocent and naïve like the FL in My Journey to You. As for the ending, after reading the comments, i skipped right to the last episode to see what we're dealing with. let me say, "WHAT THE HECK?!!!!" Any drama that has good plot, good acting leads WITH a happy ending is a 10/10 for me. I don't see the point in continuing watching a 40 episodes drama with such an ending!!!
Even though the lead guy's kisses were delicious, the romance in the drama was depressing with a disaster ending for both leads. The drama was a total waste of time for me. It's a 0/10
Overrated drama. Shallow ML falling for FL just cuz she's pretty, even with every evidence pointing towards her, he's just stubbornly defends her. You just met her, dude, you know shit about her or her past!!! Even the FL's acting was not good. Most of the time she had this "lost puppy" confused, sorry look on her face to make herself appear innocent. Secondary characters are more interesting. Plot overall is boring; the writers had to kill some characters to make an impact at the end.

I started watching s4 and s5 just cuz of them hoping they'll somehow end up as a couple. But what happened is Lucy's mom got pregnant and died while giving birth. So the baby is actually her sister. she decided to take care of her since she blamed her father for letting her mom continue with the pregnancy even though it was dangerous on her mom's health. Later on he even refused to support the baby saying he has no money. On the other hand, Li Qu Xing's father tried to s*xullay assault her in s4. Later on, she discovered she wasn't the only victim and even his wife knew all along about her husband's "activities." Li Qu Xing in s5 kept following her around to make her apologize to him for what she did to him in s4 (she beat his ass) and to his family. At the same time, he was feeling sorry for what his father did to her and others. He knew she was struggling with raising her sister financially and emotionally, so he kept sending her baby formula & stuff. In the last episodes, Li Qu Xing's mom came to Lucy for help regarding her husband. She wanted Lucy to convince Li Qu Xing to do something to keep the dad away from her son. I don't remember exactly what was going on. Anyways, cuz of that they became cool with each other; they didn't become friends again or a couple. They made amends and said goodbye.
reading comments about the ending made me hesitant to start this drama; however, the schemes and the anticipation of when the main couple will get together will captivate you once you start watching. As for the ending, some comments said it's a happy ending others said the opposite because the drama hinted the main couple will live happily ever after together in the very last scene which in my opinion is a win for sure. BUT they should've given us ONE KISS at least!!
I loved this drama, and it was the reason why i liked the lead actor. He's the popular handsome athlete, and she's the quiet smart average Jane. However, I honestly think if she weren't the renowned engineering and the sister of his late role model, he wouldn't even look at her direction!! He was pursuing her that hard because she was the key in achieving his dream.

Just finished ep2, they SERIOUSLY need to cast the actor in more dramas. He is handsome.
