A Groupie Female lead
The main flaw of this drama was the female lead. She literally has NOTHING going on with her life, except for following the male lead around and acting cute cuz she likes him!!! During the drama, they kept saying she's a computer/math genius and got offered to do a high graduate degree, BUT we've seen nothing!!!!!I even noticed people saying this drama is waaaaay better than the second sequel "Go Go Squid 2: Dt. Appledog's Time" because the FL in the sequel looks older than the ML!!! CRAZY!!! At least in the sequel drama we have a FL who has her OWN THING!! She has her career and real goals which the drama is showing us she's actually trying to achieve them. She's not following the dude 24/7 claiming she's a genius only to continue acting as a die hard fan and an assistant for the lead dude.
Go Go Squid has absolutely one of the worst female leads in the history of all dramas.

Overrated Story and Main couple
The Good:- The first episode and the premise of the drama had a promising and interesting story.
- The side characters (second couple, ML's sister, and younger brother) were great.
The Bad:
- The main actress (FL) wasn't good after the first episode. All she was doing is looking like a sad lost puppy to appear as an innocent pretty lady. The first few episodes she knew nothing. The second FL had to tell her what was going on and what to do next. Her acting made it hard to like her character.
- The main actor (ML) wasn't smart. He "fell in love" with FL the SECOND time he saw her. He just spent the whole drama protecting her and convincing others that she's a good girl, even though EVERY DAMN PROOF pointed at her!!! His love for the FL didn't make sense.
The ending was not satisfactory at all.

Too much detail spoils the fun
Too much filler and running around made some episodes a total drag. They should have cut the boring info-dumps to focus on the FL and the detective. Their chemistry was actually fire, so it's a shame we didn't see more of them together. It would have been much better if they had spent more time building their bond, or at the very least given them more scenes to interact and connect with each other.Watch for the leads, but be prepared to hit the fast-forward button.

A Waste of Time
a nonsensical plot, poor acting skills, and a terrible ending is just a waste of time.The FL gets hit by a car at the end of the last scene of the finale episode and dies. Whenever a main character dies, it leaves you asking yourself, "what's even the point of watching a 30 or 40+ episode drama only for the main couple to die at the end??"

Sexual Propaganda Made It a Waste of Time
The drama had such great potential, especially with a great lead actress who can do comedy, as she showed in the first episode. But it ended up feeling like its sole message and purpose was spreading sexual propaganda to show viewers how sexually diverse the university community in Korea is. How do I know the show is merely sexual propaganda? Well, it is quite obvious when the drama has such a weird open ending; it seems like the funding ran out before they could complete another two episodes to tie up the loose ends. The writers did not care about properly developing the story or the characters at all. It is a total waste of time and energy to watch this drama; even the romance plots weren't that good to begin with!Was this review helpful to you?
A Bum for an ML
ML is a poor bum who ends up living with FL cuz she provides him with shelter, food, and comfort. It's the only reason he likes her cuz she lets him do whatever he wants like chasing "his dreams." I don't see any romance here. I don't even get the feeling he truly loves her for herself. At the end, it looks like he liked her and chose to stay with her instead of the other rich girl cuz FL lets him do whatever he likes with his time. too young and sexy FL
My problem with is drama is the FL. They introduce her as a sexy graduate who's passionate about both men and football, and the lead guy is a high school student. While watching the drama, it didn't feel like the leads had the vibe of an older woman and a younger man . She was acting the same age as the high-schooler!!! She acted like a h*rny sorority girl who wears sexy tops and shorts while playing football to sleep around cuz she's addicted to men!!!!Why bother calling it a younger man/older woman when you cast both leads who look and act the same age!!!

Sexy ML but no emotions
The general plot and characters were interesting, except for the ML. His acting and his way of conveying his emotions was lacking. Mostly, he depended on his good looks and abs to justify why he's the lead guy. Look at him in the poster pic!!!!! he's the only one showing his abs🤣🤣🤣That's why i won't be watching any other dramas for this actor.
Overall, the drama was okay for a one time watch only.
