I enjoyed watching it a lot. The comedy and the acting were great. I liked Hagi the most with his comedic acting.

so there's no romance between dako and buko in this movie? not even a hint?

some comments say there's no romance at all in this drama, then why there's a tag of "Older woman/ Younger man" under it?

he loved her since high school and even confessed to her, but she refused him then. after years, he saw her in the street and decided to have a plan to make her fall in love with him. But for unknown reason, due to the lack of eng subs, she refused to marry him at the end of the series. Honestly, he looked sweet and deeply in love with her. i don't know why she refused him twice!! anyways, she's 30 and he's 29, not a big age gap.

this one dealt with the trope in a good respectable way for his age since he's a minor.

Great drama. it didn't have anything nasty happen between the teacher and the student. the acting was amazing. The comedy and the cosplay is great as well.

If a drama or a movie gonna have the teacher-student trope, the couple shouldn't get serious together, like having sex, while one of them is a minor. Kids' emotions are not stable enough and most of the time it's just an infatuation with the adult. With a little of time apart, they will change their feelings for sure. That's why i like it when the couple give it a couple of years to start a serious relationship. That way they become adults and sure of their emotions. Dramas like Melancholia and Murai no Koi have dealt with this trope gracefully. As for this movie, in my opinion it was too soon for them to be together. She's still so young for him to accept her or even take her seriously.

the love triangle comes and goes through the whole drama, and there is a break up. Overall, the drama is really funny and entertaining.

Loved the drama. The three leads work together really well. Even though there was no romance in the series and many fans believe it was hinted as BL drama many times, I totally disagree with that. During watching the drama, i felt there was a hint of romance between Yiyong and the police woman. In my opinion, Yiyong and Guangyan acted as bestfriends and nothing more. I didn't feel any romantic feelings between the two. One of the episodes even had Guangyan liking the doll girl. On the other hand, Yiyong and the police woman started to know each other more and with the whole cake guy thing it was clear they might develop something more in the future. They even know they each prefer meat buns to sweet cakes. I don't know if the actors confirmed anything about that during their interviews cuz most of them have no eng sub.

I also agree that Melancholia addressed the student-teacher relationship in a graceful way, so i don't understand the hate for this drama as well.
