OK, I'm in the midle of Episode 8 and can get how stupid it is. Obviosly after the ML left that Uncle send someone to bring his supposed not-daughter, and asked for the bowl with clean water. Also, it's obvious that after ML left he was alive and the restaurant worker had to see him.
And the conclusion... What, she was poisoned in the prision cell but we forget it, because, oh well, in the end she was cured..? Ugh.
Despite flaws in the show you could drive a semi through, I liked this show a lot. The first problem was that…
I don't know why everybody is implying, that Su Ci has heard the voice many times before she recognized it. As far as I can say, it's the first time she has heard Jiang Xi Wen [Prince Qi's bodyguard] speaking. Before he was shown to always hide, and only talking directly with Prince Qi. So it's possible to be really the first time SC heard him speaking more then a word.
I didn't have a problem with recognizing from the start, that Su Ci is portraying as a "man" because a) she was doing a "man's" job and b) the other characters implied that they see her as a man. However I do agree that she was too "girly" to be realistically seen as a man. [Unlike "Bromance", where I found the FL to be the most believable "man" from all GB shows :P] Also Su Ci (stiff) expressions at the beginning were too much like Fei Liu (Nirvana in fire). To the point a thought her portraying a savant, only not in fighting but in case solving ^^;
