Yes! I agree with everything you mentioned in your article. Here’s a couple of things that annoy me also:1)…
When they sleep in fully prepared outfits too. They throw off the blankets and have on like three layers of clothing??? Then they either get changed into something else to go to work or they go to work wearing what they slept in and quite frankly, I don't know which one is more frustrating.
What really gets me is the yelling scenes, like when they're on a ledge or at the beach and they start screaming at the ocean like it actually does anything to the plot. I wouldn't mind the scenes if they were legit screaming and not doing a childish little chant and introducing themselves to everyone who doesn't care. I can understand the appeal, but my skin crawls at these scenes...
I always loved Seojun more, but I really want her with Suho. As for what will happen for the break, generally webtoons from foreign countries are further along or at least planned out further, so I assume it'll be something the directors and staff discuss with Yaongyi. Seeing as the latest chapters are already leaning towards a breakup, she'll probably end up with Suho in the end, but I really hope the drama doesn't just gloss over the relationship as an insignificant piece.
I feel like Urban Zakapa has a lot of great songs that could fit into a list like this, like "I don't love you anymore." Bol4's "To my youth" may be too emotional and distract from the plot, but I could totally see the mood of that song fitting into a more serious drama touching on depression and struggle with self-worth.
I actually really liked the effort put into side characters. I didn't like the beginning, but as time went on I felt that the show was actually enjoyable. The main characters were a bit boring for me, but the side stories were intense and intriguing. A lot of people have complete opposite opinions, complaining that the effort into side characters was wasted and boring since they were not given 'enough screen time.' I highly disagree, although everyone is allowed to voice their opinions. My favorite characters were actually the ML's older brother that he was close to and the actress with the child. I found their parts in the story to hold more weight than anything and they felt very true to their characters for me, although depressing. Tragedy is one of my favorite genres, however, so I may be biased. If you're willing to have an open mind and want to look at the story with a deeper heart, I suggest you watch it. I gave it an 8.5 for reference due to an off feeling I had at the beginning and odd editing. The ending was a little confusing as well, but not awful.
I understand what you're saying, however the writers could have portrayed it much better. Instead, he was entirely okay with her 'beautiful' appearance until she started getting more attention than him. This is the part that set me off and made me uncomfortable more so than him asking her to change back.
