They are also her children & NOT only the ‘cheater’s’. So are you saying that it is ok for ZS to ‘abandon’ her children bcoz ZH allegedly ’cheated’? These children are innocent. It was already tragic enough that their own mother & maternal grandmother allegedly wanted them ‘aborted’ at 6 months pregnancy. Do you even know that there are premature babies born at 6 months gestation? Aborting at 6 months is extremely dangerous for surrogate mothers too.

It’s like the pot calling the kettle black. You preached not to ‘stupidly’ believe the media or her ‘cheating’ husband and nobody knows the truth. And yet you have come to the conclusion based on media reports that she has ‘fertility’ issues, her ex cheated, she fought for custody for a year (custody for the kids was only filed in aug 2020), etc. Unless you know her personally, I guess you are also ‘believing’ the media. And btw she is a public figure & she has indirectly broken her country’s law. So very hard to keep it private.

I don’t think majority of the people are scolding her over adoption. Most are disgusted over the late pregnancy abortion & suggestion to leave the babies at the hospital.

Why is it all of Zheng Shuang’s ex-boyfriends were painted in bad light & vilified after breakups with her? From Zheng Han, Hu YanBin & now Zhang Heng. She dates only ‘scumbags’? Is she the problem or them?

I actually visited the blog Gwendolyn was vehemently promoting. If you go through the legal documents/ letters that were presented by ZS’s dad, it didn’t really work in her favour (in my opinion). ZS’s legal representative was asking whether she ‘has’ to be present at the births to be granted custodies according to the ‘agreements’ (which I am assuming here, surrogacy contracts?) because she had a busy schedule and also whether she can appoint a 3rd party to act on her behalf. She wasn’t there at the births and she has never met them. One can only assume that if she was really keen on those kids, she would dropped everything to be there at some point during birth or even after. She had 9 months to plan her schedule.

Agree that we have to just wait & see. But whatever it is, I hope those innocent babies will get the lives, family & love their deserve. I guess we are all so passionately debating or commenting here is because of these babies. They are the real victims. Not ZS or ZH.

Hmmm.... she was not there at their births & has never met or cared for them. And she wants custody. A bit suss especially it was mentioned 3 times on the legal documents on where to ‘reside’ the kids.

Firstly in one of the documents released, her attorney was asking whether a representative can be appointed on her behalf since the agreements (I am assuming the surrogacy agreement here) stated that the parents have to be present in order to have custody. She can’t be there since she had a ‘very’ busy schedule. If she was not present at the time of the birth she has already violated the the agreement. If you know your babies are due and as a first time parent, you would make time, right? Now I am wondering whether she has ever met ‘her’ children.

Secondly, her petition for custody includes making decisions where the children will reside. I am wondering since surrogacy is illegal in China and she has broken up with ZH, will she allow her children to reside in China? Because there could backlash for circumventing the law. She can’t hide her children. Chinese has a saying that ‘paper can’t wrap fire’. So are her parents & her prepare to ‘potentially’ jeopardize her career then? And if she decides to keep her children in US, who will raise them? Given that she was so busy and was doing so well in her career, will she even have time to see them. Playing the devil advocate here, is she trying to gain sole custody to protect her career or her children?

It does take 2 hands to clap. China does not allow surrogacy. She circumvented the law by having the procedure done in US. Now having a baby is not like buying a bag. You can sell the bag anytime if you don’t like it. But you just can’t simply get the rid of the babies because they don’t fit in your life anymore. The IVF procedure & surrogacy journey is a long, tedious & expensive one. She had plenty of time to think it over and over and over. So no excuse for ‘not wanting to be a mom anymore’. It is not like she was 16 when she made that decision. Also it was the ‘reasons’ she & her parents were giving that landed her to where she is today. Like she can’t afford to bring the children up where in fact she owns high end properties in China. I agree adoption should be considered if both ZS & ZH can’t give the babies a family & life they deserved. But to give excuses for her actions is just not on.

Hmm... I think her ex knew her too well. Without the recordings, who would believe him. It would be his words against hers. Also I think the recordings are important evidence in any upcoming legal battles for the children’s welfare & custody.

You are so right. The court document stupidly posted by ZS’s father has vindicated her ex. ZH should counter sue ZS & her family for defamation & shrugging off parental responsibilities.
