The mere presence of SML on screen made me roll my eyes and boiled my blood even before I knew all the back story I didn't like his presence on the screen. After knowing all the back story,the stupid explanation and excuses he made I genuinely wanted to throw hands, man!!! you had two lives yet you didn't choose her now you claim that love and care about her🙄, I felt like he was treated very gently even after the atrocities he committed, I mean why is the last ep making me sympathize him with such long convo with FL,I didn't feel a bit bad for his death. The only person I felt who deserved our sympathy was crown prince, poor guy his past life was miserable and present was also not much good, happy that he got his happy ending. Loved Zhang Linghe and Zhao Jinmai their characters were strong and chemistry was good.

I'm a little confused, in ep 8 we see that the fl writes the college entrance exam and goes to college but later it is revealed that she dropped out of school in senior year . I couldn't understand is this because of changes that happens due to letters or there is something I'm missing.

I'm on ep 34 and ughh the relationship between Shen yurong and the princess makes me want to throw up, man claims to still care about the FL but don't mind being intimate with the princess and the relationship between the emperor and consort li makes feel uncomfortable the fact that woman is his father's consort makes it so unacceptable.

I was waiting until the last episode for some backstory but got none that was a bit disappointing TBH

But there wasn't much time for him to realise that as the ghost soldiers were very close to him and he was alone to fight or do anything else to realise it was an illusion as in case of Zang Hai the princess was helping him and not all the soldiers were attacking him like they did to Kuai Duo

I have a question, how did Kuai Duo come out the shrine unscathed, we can see in the first episode that he was running towards the gui seal but it was never shown what happened afterwards like how did he free himself from the illusion of ghost soldiers, if touching or holding gui seal made him free of the illusion then how was Zhao Bingwen not immune to those illusions
