Am confused too because apparently FX is the emperor’s son too. Am not sold on this yet nor convinced. Perhaps I simply don’t get it.
However, the emperor hates the idea of anyone having too much power, sway in any form so he plays these balancing games. It was why he killed off FX’s mother.
I love the fact that one can’t easily read his mind or actions.
I think FL’s father is a dark horse to watch or at least I would like to believe that he is not so simple
